You tend to splurge on a weekend trip, yet prefer a certain understatement? You just found your place: A very nice villa at central location with only a dozen of rooms! Enjoy the garden or indoor seating areas to unwind after exploring the city - By the way, both minibar and aperitivo are complimentary. While for us everything was perfect,...

Stunning building and volumes, wonderful attention to detail (best bed and sheets ever I think, REN toiletries, embroidered towels and cloths, beautiful buffet breakfast display, charming staff..). Room decor is understated but plush and charming with huge antique maps on walls, lush fabrics. Not a sound, great wifi, beautiful garden for breakfast, and just ultimate good taste. It felt like...

This magnificent house turned hotel is stupendous. Everything was included. Everything was immaculate. The staff were so friendly. The rooms were sumptuous. Breakfast was included, including the best bacon I have had for years. Cannot praise it highly enough. Such luxury comes at a price

Villa Spalletti Trivelli is such a beautiful place! The outside of the hotel is very deceiving, but once the huge double doors open you are immediately transformed into old world luxury. The hotel was originally a home and photographs of those that lived there along with their artwork can be seen in the library and sitting room. The furniture is...

This is a lovely hotel in the centre, close to everything which you would need, and the rooms, service and atmosphere are wonderful. We stayed as a family for a special family celebration, across three generations, and everyone had a fantastic time. They arranged a trip to the Vatican, and this was excellent. The rooms are beautifully set out, clean...

We spent our 50th wedding anniversary at Villa Spalletti Trivelli for six nights in a room upgraded to a Junior Suite with 45m2. Upgrades appear to be made at the time of booking, rather than at check-in. The personnel at the front desk are all fluent in English and were very helpful in any requests that we made. Their computers...

We stayed 3 nights at this absolutely wonderful, quiet hotel in the middle of Rome. The garden is absolutely lovely and a great place to meet other guests and enjoy a drink after long days of touring Rome. The location is perfect for walking absolutely everywhere - Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, even the Vatican are all within walking distance. Beds are...

If you can afford it, stay here. We stayed four nights and cannot fault this hotel in any way. All of the staff were charming and all went out of their way to help in every way they could. The building was the home of an aristocratic family and was restored seven years ago to an exceptional standard. It feels...

We recently spent 5 nights here and it was wonderful. Very quiet, I am a light sleeper and this hotel is the quietest I've ever experienced. The rooms and bathrooms are modern, huge and luxurious. We had a regular room - the suites must be mind-blowing. The breakfast spread is fantastic, you can eat inside or outside. There is everything...

Having stayed in deluxe, large hotels in the past in Rome, we chose the 11 room Villa Spalletti for this 3 day trip and were absolutely delighted. Our deluxe room included a walk in closet, a large double vanity bathroom with separate shower and bath as well as a balcony with a table and 2 chairs, just right for cocktails....
