A very clean and very nice the way they treat you Hotel! Rooms are of good size the bed is confortable the bathroom impeccable and you have every morning breakfast in cafeteria(included) which is amazing and delicious! Definitely a very good option in Rome as you would be a couple steps from the train station!

Generally speaking, all was fine. Rooms are large, bed is comfortable, and breakfast is really good and with a large choice. Staff is nice. No things to complain. Concerning drawbacks, only marginal things can be reported. There is a bit of noise in the evenings, due to activities undertaken (I guess) by the staff. Nothing really loud, but is could...

21st April 2017 - 2 night stay: My husband and i have been to Rome quite a few times and always stay here. It's conveniently located for the train station and walking distance to all the main Rome attractions. But this trip we explored further and it was like a new Rome as there is just so much to see....

The hotel was even better than stated. Staff were excellent the accommodations were wonderful. The breakfast was very good and had many options. The young woman that ran breakfast was outstanding. The desk staff were working double shifts to cover for a vacationing staff person and even under extra strain they were excellent.

We stayed almost 5 nights during our Roma visit as a family. The location of the hotel is very close to Termini Station. Breakfast was perfect. We had opportunity to walk Collesium, Forum and other places. Only problem we had was wireless was not strong enough and we could not use internet in the room.

We had booked this hotel because of the proximity to the train station. The quarter is really bad as usual at train stations, with a lot of garbage and bad smell in the streets. The room was ok for one night but not more, isolation is extremly bad and the breakfast is rather poor quality. Some from the staff are...

We loved our stay at Hotel Diocleziano. This hotel is situated very close to Roma Termini (approx 10 min walk), plus you can take the Leonard Express from airport direct to Termini station. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is good with plenty of choice. This hotel is close to some really great restaurants within walking distance and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
