we stayed at Hotel Alimandi Vaticano for the 3rd time and it was just as great! The staff is friendly and helpful; the breakfast provides a nice selection of foods; and the rooms are large and nicely furnished. The location is perfect - close to the Vatican and also close to the Metro and other public transportation. There are many...

Directly across from Vatican Museum. Hotel room was immaculate and well furnished. Had an actual tub, not just a shower cubicle. Lovely rooftop terrace to share a bottle of wine. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.

This was my second time in Rome and first time at this hotel. We chose this hotel because of its location and it was perfect. The bed was not comfortable but we did not expect it to be plus but have to admit it was a hard mattress and pillows. TV reception and wifi was excellent. I wanted to give...

Dear Customer, thanks for your sharing your experience! I just like to point out that our mattresses are firm, not as those in UK or in the US very soft. In Italy we don't use that kind of soft mattress. If one looks at our past reviews many customers have reported that our mattresses are firm but the great majority...

Having been to Rome 5 times previously one of which was a family visit 7 years ago when the kids were 3 and 10 we thought it would be nice to revisit and see how much they could remember. We have always chosen a good quality 4 star hotel in the past usually in or around Via Nationalle. This time...

We have just come back from our amazing stay, with a great location and wonderful breakfast buffet. But the best part was the quality of the staff, with the private balcony (we stayed in no. 305) coming in a close second.

A group of 12 pilgrims to Israel stopped in Rome for 5 days on our way back to the USA. We had the great fortune to stay at Hotel Alimandi Vaticano which happens to be directly across the street from the entrance to the Vatican Museum. Needless to say, it is a perfect location for those who visit Rome for...

Travled with a group. Woke up 1st night with bed bugs on me. A friend staying in another room also woke up with bed bugs. Hers was more severe, bites all over body. When we brought it up with reception, they did move both of us to new rooms, however, they still let other people stay in the rooms after...

Long weekend with my wife who has stayed here 10 times. It is directly looking onto the Vatican museum with lots of restaurants nearby. We had a junior suite with a terrace which was excellent & well appointed. The staff are very helpful & friendly. It is walkable into the centre although taxis are easy to arrange. Breakfast is excellent...

On the plus side the hotel is ideally located directly across from the main entrance to the Vatican. It displays a 4 star rating which I find hard to believe as it only provides minimal facilities, the bedroom was clean and tidy but rather dated in both decor and furniture, the bed(s) are a tad firm and the pillows provided...

Dear customer, we thank your for sharing your experience although your words - honestly - sound too much severe. The hotel was built in 2005 and all the furniture is new, moreover we do renovations continuously as to keep the furniture always up to date. Both mattresses and pillows are not of a bad quality and not surprisingly many other...

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 1 night after our cruise and I am really pleased we chose it, the excellent and friendly customer service we received from Nico was just amazing, I cannot praise him enough for the help we were given, nothing was a trouble. Our bedroom was an economy room, it was a good size with...
