Two friends and I stayed at the hotel for one night while in Rome. We rented a three person room with a private bathroom. Upon arrival, you must ring a bell to get let in and then head up a few floors. There was a lift provided so that was helpful! The room included three individual beds which was amazing,...

The hotel was only five minutes from the termini station so wasn't too hard to walk there with my heavy suitcase. It wasn't too hard to find and the staff were really friendly and helpful. It was good value for a stopover in Rome.

We have stayed in a budget hotel in Rome before so we were very disappointed with this one. The reception office was on the second floor and we were then shown to a room on the fifth floor. There was a very old lift which luckily worked efficiently. We had a room for three which was actually a small double...

Was hesitant to stay here after seeing some bad reviews, but I'm so glad we did. It was a perfectly lovely hotel. + The room was huge! Nice large bed, couch, desk, and wardrobe. +The wifi was great. Reliable and fast enough for streaming. + Water pressure in shower was good (albeit a little too good- perfect for washing my...

Spent four nights here and basically only returned to sleep, otherwise I was outside exploring the city. For this purpose, the place was perfect: staff is friendly, rooms are quiet and clean with their own bathroom, beds are comfortable.

I wasn't expecting much more than a bed and a bathroom for the price but this was ridiculous. Great location, but very hard to find. The staff was less than friendly. The website stated that the rooms were air conditioned but not true. I kept asking them to repair our unit and I was told it worked. So, we turned...

Spent four nights here while exploring Roma. The location was really nice. Right next to the train station and walking distance to the colosseum. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clean and safe room. A good budget friendly place to stay. There was a breakfast included. They gave me a card to...

When travelling, hotel is only for sleep. This one was the cheapest I found with private room and bath. It satisfied our minimum requirements for cleanliness and confort, therefore it has a good value.

I stayed here for one night because it was close to Roma Termini train station and I had a flight the next morning. I am a 20 year old girl and I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are on your own. Firstly, this hotel is very difficult to access. There were no instructions about how to get...

This B&B type hotel is near the Termini train station which allows to easily access the city sights, the airport and travel to other cities. It has everything you need for a holiday in a city like Rome; good location, elevator, high speed WiFi connection and English speaking staff. The only disadvantage is that the walls are very thin and...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
