We stayed 4 nights in rome in the mixed room. It is a little hard to find but once there it's a great location as only 5 minute walk from the train station. the rooms were generally clean. There was free breakfast in the morning and the free wine in the evening was a nice touch!

Thought that the eating room is bigger than that.. Free breakfast every morning.. Anyway, there is a lockout period from 10am to 3pm and you have to get out from your room during that time.. It's not that easy to find, keep your eyes open, it's on the second floor above that bar something.. Room is good, toilet is good,...

It's cosy, clean, perfectly located hostel for a short visit. We stayed for 2 nights there and payed a reasonable price in comparison with other places. Helpful staff, well maintained rooms, fast wi-fi. Definitely recommendable!

Hostel is well located (especially if getting the shuttle bus from either airport), situated a five minute walk from Rome's central transport hub. The hostel itself, despite being difficult to find is spacious with a large kitchen, dining area and balcony and the rooms are comfortable and clean. For these reasons I would certainly recommend this hostel! The staff also...

Overall a very nice hostel in a fabulous location. And it thankfully had a/c during the hot summer. Unfortunately, there was no kitchen, which was a hassle. And there was no laundry, we had to go to a laundromat. Overall, comfortable and safe and clean. I would stay there again.

Legend Hostel has good transport links as it is only 5 minutes away from Termini station (Coach, Metro and direct train to Fiumicino Airport). This hostel is particularly cheap during the Winter season (only 27 euros for two nights). The rooms are reasonably spacious fitted with a bunk bed (firm mattress), cupboard, large mirror and a table. This particularly convenient...

Clean, reception 24hr, good kitchen facilities & easy walk to Roma Termini. Our shower often ran out of hot water and had inconsistent pressure. Not the place to go if you're looking to socialise and meet new people. P.s the pizza nights are a lie.

Cons Hard to find, no sign. Small elevator Entry requires reception to let you in, which means if they're not there / went to pee, you ll be waiting outside. They throw away things you left in bathroom. Pros Bed is fine, cozy. Toilet is not bad. Foosball is free. Close to Roma termini Nearby got supermarket

Placed conveniently near the Termini train station, Legends is a cozy hostel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, all of whom speak English well. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the sheets are changed regularly and every bed has its own electricity socket. I enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely choose it again for my next visit. My...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
