I visited Rome with my partner over the May bank holiday weekend. We had been recommended Federici by friends and were not disappointed. Fabio was very welcoming and friendly, ensuring we knew our way around, had breakfast early on our day of checking out and a driver to the airport (50€). The rooms are relatively basic but extremely clean and...

Fabio, the manager, is a nice dude, helpful and kind. The location is just on the Metro Station Ottaviano, which is a walking distance to the Vatican and St. Peter cathedral. The b&b is located in an old building, as a lot of other b&b's, and you get a room in a flat along with other rooms. Bathroom is separated....

We loved the Federici B&B. We travelled with 2 families and found the bedrooms spacious and clean, the breakfast hot and delicious and the common room an added bonus for family game nights. Fabio was very helpful in directing us to places of interest and directing us to restaurants. The location is perfectly situated next to the Metro station and...

Staying at Federici B&B is the way to go, especially if you are traveling alone. Fabio made me feel so welcome, answered all my queries, advised me not to go to one place on my wish list, told me which buses, tram or subway to take to the day's destination (all nearby) and advised me as to which nearby neighborhood...

Great B&B to stay in Rome. Right by the metro station, so very, very convenient to everything! Walking distance to the Vatican, great shopping and food close by. Fabio was a great host, the breakfast was ample served in a nice big sunny room. The guest rooms were small, and the shower we had was very small, but clean and...

I have used tripadvisor for years to find good places to stay. Alas, I never wrote any reviews of the good or the bad. This time I decided that I would add my voice to the others who commented. It really was a really good stay. We stayed 4 nights. It was easy to get to from the airport-train and...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
