Practically no TV, weak WI-FI, persistant urine stink, poor cleaning, meager breakfast, "staff" playing the surprised attitude at every complaint, no A/C. altough close to Termini/subway train station the neigborhood is rough, quiet rough
I stayed in Hotel Aristotele with my wife and daughter. The room as well as the bathroom
were nice and clean, and the couple that run the business, Maouro and Cynthia, are friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was satisfactory and generous.

The hotel is located a few minutes walk from Roma Termini and in a building containing a few other hotels. We took the lift to the second floor (for reception) and rang the bell. The owner seemed a bit confused when he opened the door...More
Great hotel for the price. Best attribute is the location to Termini. Wifi worked on my phone but not my laptop for some reason - might be my laptop's fault. Guy was nice. A/C helped a lot in a hot summer day.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
