We stayed for a night here. It had one of the most comfy beds we have stayed in. It's a quaint little hotel set in old apartments and has interesting decor and views into the quiet courtyard. Nice breakfast with good voice was served In another one of the old apartment very helpful staff. It is also right next to...

Wonderful Family-run, small apartments mixed with residential apartments; GREAT security (3 keys: one to enter the wooden door into the central patio from the street, 2nd to enter your passage way on your specific floor [shared with 3 or 4 other apartments], and finally a 3rd for you accommodation). The rooms are simply furnished, complete bathroom & good shower &...

The hotel is in good and central location near Termini station for those who do not want to carry their suitcases around the city. Nice design of the room, clean and comfortable. Nice and helpful welcoming and good breakfast. The only problem was the noise from the neighbor air condition.

The best location, 3-5 min. walk from Rome Termini Station -I could walk with my suitecase. Safe/good for solo-girl traveler. There were triple keys to get into your room. The room is simple and not large, but enough to stay with comfort. Staff are familiar and helpful!

The room forms part of a cluster of units, sharing one entrance. The room was comfortable with neat private bathroom. Breakfast was served on a different floor, close to the rooms. The breakfast was sumptuous with a variety of options to choose from. Walking distance from station with a few nice trattorias close by. Overall good value for money. Friendly...

My mom and I stayed here on our last night in Italy. We wanted to be close to Stazione Termini to catch the Leonardo Express train to Fiumicino airport for our morning flights. There are tons of lodging options in the area, but as a two block (short blocks) walk from the entrance to the side of the station that...

I spent 4 days in Rome and La Casa Di Amy really enhanced my visit! This is simply the best B&B - family run business which makes it feel really homely - the owners are super friendly and really professional at the same time - they all speak very good English so no need to worry about the language barrier....

It is situated in an old traditional European building, but the room is nicely decorated and good size for couple and look as good or better than their website photos. I have been to plenty of B&Bs but this beats them all! Such care has been given to even the minimum of details in the rooms which gives you that "home from home" feeling : scattered coloured cushions on the bed, ornaments in the room, scented bathroom - I had a peek at other rooms too, there is nothing standard about the furniture,linen...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
