This hotel is a good, basic guest house/hotel. It's close to the metro and major Rome sights. It's quiet at night, cleAn, and has a small breakfast to get you started in the morning. Air conditioner, shower, mini fridge all worked fine. It's fairly easy to find as long as you look for the address and not a sign (there...

Absolutely disgusting. This is not a hotel but merely a guest house of 7 rooms with no staff there 24 hours. We arrived to what appeared to be an old office block. Climbed up 2 flights of stairs with our luggage to an office door and opened to see a dirty dingy reception. The room appeared clean at first but...

The hotel was one of the cheaper one in central rome. The hotel location was perfect and the staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast could have been better. Over all the stay was really good and hotel standard was what you could expect for a room in that pricerange.

The hotell was one of the cheaper hotel in Rome and that was why we booked it, so you basically get what you pay for i should say. The hotel is located in a residential building so it can be hard to find. Staff is only present during daytime but the man we spoke to was helpfull. There was airconditioning...

We were a party of 10 (5 Couples) on a sightseeing tour of Rome - and we had a wonderful time. The hotel has a great location and we walked to all the sights Rome has to offer. We liked the breakfast arrangements - Yoghurt, fruit juice jams in the fridge, a load ofcakes, croissants, wafers etc. A modern tea/coffee dispenser...

We stayed there 3 nights. A very convinient location for sightseeing Rome - it's just a couple of minutes walk from Central Station - Termini and only ab 200 m away from Republica Metro station. My family and I walked around the whole centre of Rome - its really not far away from there - all main city attractions are...

Yes its not a hotel, but 6 rooms, very quiet and very comfortable. I had a double room/single use, perfect, clean, bathroom, etc what to say. Value for money is very good and the star, well, one was very helpful and concerned I was comfortable. Great WI FI connection. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Possibly the worst "hotel" i have ever stayed in, we booked 3 night in this "3 Star hotel" with AirBerlin Holidays (NEVER AGAIN). When we arrived we were grated by a scruffy young man wearing a dirty shirt and bad English. We were shown to the room which was filthy, a bed covered in stains, all surfaces covered in dust,...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
