Comfort, quaint and convenient--this very affordable lodging is footsteps from the vatican, Castle San Angelo, shopping, dining, and the metro. So that means accesable to all the major tourist attractions without difficulty. Metro ticket kiosk nearby--for that matter everything is at an arms length. Begin each morning with a great continental breakfast then off to enjoy a day of "sensual...

My friends and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel! Just a warning for those who have never stayed at B&B's in Europe... many times they convert apartments into B&Bs. We had trouble finding the B&B at first since there isn't a huge sign on the outside. It was our first B&B experience. Since we checked in late we had...

We just loved it. The staff was most helpful from day 1. Room was clean every day, bed suitably comfortable. Shower could have been bigger...The locations was perfect for us. Vatican next block, metro around the corner, mini-markets near by where we could buy something we needed. Opposite ristorante Amalfi is a good place to have dinner. We will recommend...

We recently stayed at the suites de via ottoviana and loved it. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is unbeatable. The suites are close to the Vatican (right around the corner), bus routes, and the metro. Further, Amalfi Pizza is right next door, which served up some really good food on the...

A warm welcome was waiting for us from Noreen our host who explained everything to us in perfect English. Delightful bed and breakfast 200 meters from the Vatican in a smart building on the 4th floor couldn't have asked for a better location! Rooms clean and adequate for our 3 night stay. Very reasonably priced Little problem on the second...

We were with a small group of friends for a long weekend in Rome. The staff and owners at this quaint little spot went above and beyond. My wife's luggage was delayed and the staff kept up in the loop. They were like family away from home. The rooms are small and the breakfast is minimal but it is very...

My gf who lives in Italy booked this little gem when we visited Rome as it was recommended by her Italian colleagues. The place is a residential building, a few blocks from the Metro station, with a great big Roman door and a rickety and tiny elevator you see in movies. We stayed in room 5 which overlooks Via Octavianno...

Before booking, you must have in mind that this hotel is far from the traditional image people make of a hotel. It is a Family business, led with great care by Catherine, her husband and her daughter, Nooren. I could consider that a good part of its good grades at tripadvisor and booking.com is due to their great sympathy and...

Adorable couple, super clean and spacious rooms. We could see the Vatican dome from our window and there were plenty places close to eat good Italian food. Would DEFINITELY stay here again/ recommend it. Also, metro station right outside the door.

The room was cramped. The shower so tiny, I hit my head. Water leaks around shower. No A/C..hotter and stuffier than we could stand. Kept window open to breathe; had to deal with small flying insects, lots of noise, and worst of all ..odors. The bathroom was the worst.. A horrible sewer (sulphur) smell gravitated through the bathroom from window...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
