I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I arrived and was taken from the guest house to the annexe, which is essentially an airbnb - a two bedroom apartment. I was told that I had the place to myself. The room was quite small and the noise from outside was very loud, because the location of the annexe is near...

Not a hotel! Do not expect hotel facilities. This is by all means a family operated guest house. Upon arrival we buzzed in and went up to the main office in the building where the hotel is addressed. We were greeted and checked-in by the staff and then taken to a building around the corner where our room inside of...

I booked with booking.com and there is not mentioned anywhere that is a Guest House. I honestly don't choose guest houses when I look for hotels. Maybe it is a misguide from booking.com, but I was quite disappointed. The price they apply it's not of a guest house at all. You can book a decent hotel in Rome for that...

We stayed for 3 nights in November. We arrived on a Wednesday at 3:00 pm. After ring the buzzer for five minutes someone arrived from another property inside and let us in the building. But there was no one at the Imperiale to let us in. We were locked in the vestibule for about a half hour until someone showed...

I can't say enough good things about the Piccolo Imperiale! The staff was wonderful, the location was great, the room was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to visit Rome. The young man that worked there over the weekend went out of his way to help me print our...

The location of the hotel is good. Easy walking to most attractions. The rooms are clean. We stayed for 4 nights and the sky TV (english) did not work. Also the coffee machine did not make cappuccinos at all. The breakfast is a Joke. it is all packaged in plastic and nothing is fresh. Otherwise it is a good budget...

The location is excellent! I was worried about parking our car in the city, but they were able to reserve a parking spot in an underground garage 2 blocks down, so no problem at all! The area is an upscale part of town within walking distance of many of the Rome attractions. A city bus (line 87) also stops nearby...

This guest house is situated in a quiet residential area close to the Vatican and only a short walk across the river to some main attractions, the nearest metro is just under a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are basic and nicely decorated but very comfortable. When I go back to Rome I will probably stay here again.

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
