In the heart of the papal and aristocratic Rome, the D.O.M is a brand new luxury hotel, set in a 17th Century aristocratic palace. Its position in Via Giulia, one of the most iconic streets of the city centre, is very convenient between Piazza Navona, Piazza Farnese, Trastevere e San Pietro. The hotel D.O.M is the perfect pick for those who want to savour the architectural beauty and the artistic treasures of the rive droite of Rome, far from the mainstream tourist routes. The hotel emanates the atmosphere of an aristocratic household, a unique combination of sacredness and luxury: the ambience is enriched by numerous design pieces and works of art. In the elegant restaurant the original Andy Wharol "Ladies and Gentleman" serigraphs will surely catch the eye of the guests. The cocktail bar, cosy and small, reminds the old American speakeasy bars. The 18 rooms and suites - all overlooking Via Giulia - offer absolute comfort: they combine contemporary touches, among which design vases and pictures and paintings by various artists, with authentic period details, such as white wood coffered ceilings and decorative brick walls. Some have a living room area, mirror TVs, cashmere and silk carpets. The hotel's spectacular roof terrace, which smells of rosemary and lemon, recalls the Dolce Vita times: guest will be able to enjoy an aperitif or to read one of the hotel's library books in perfect relax admiring the roofs and the churches in the Regola borough, facing the green hill of Gianicolo and overlooking the ancient Roman archaeological site of 'Stabula Augusti'.

We searched and searched lots of Rome hotels, none of which tempted us until we were lucky enough to find Dom Hotel via BA holidays. Dom Hotel was exactly what we were looking for, small, stylish and in an absolutely perfect location, situated on Via Guilia in a quiet location with gorgeous restaurants, cafes, wine bars and artisan shops/boutiques all close to hand and also the hotel was in the perfect spot for exploring everything including the major sites and more. Each and every member of the Dom Hotel team we came into contact with could not have been more friendly, approachable, helpful and professional throughout our stay. Our room, number 25 was spacious, beautifully clean, the bathroom was replenished each morning and night with beautiful Acqua di Parma toiletries, toothbrushes and toothpaste, shaver and shaving foam were all nice touches, the house keeping team were very efficient, friendly and helpful if there was anything we needed. A large bottle of complimentary still and sparkling water were also provided daily. A lovely touch was the chilled bottle of Prosecco on arrival which we knew about and was part of the BA holiday booking.
Our continental breakfast was also included in the cost of our holiday and it was absolutely delicious, plentiful and varied with the added surprise of a different daily amuse bouche and home made cake. Oh and the best cappuccino we had in the whole of Rome. Each morning we were greeted and served by the same very lovely, happy and friendly member of staff.
Beautiful decor, gorgeous bar area and an absolutley fabulous restaurant Verve which we ate in on our first night.
Cannot speak highly enough of this gorgeous little gem, would not hesitate to recommend and we really hope to return as it could not have been better in any way.
Thank you to everyone for making this the perfect stay in Rome.

Location is excellent, walking distance or a very short taxi from pretty much all you want to see in Rome.
Hotel is exactly as expected from Pictures very well designed rooms we had a double room and although we booked direct and it promotes a free upgrade for booking direct we did not get offered this, so a little disappointed but not a major issue at all because our room was very nice. Great shower water was perfectly hot despite what some other reviews have said.
Rooms were quite warm even for January and our air conditioning did not work. We did not mention to staff because we were happy to just open a window. I am sure they would have been happy to move us but it did not bother us that much.
We did not have dinner here and the rooftop terrace was closed for winter which was a little disappointing.
The breakfast was excellent, we went for a mix of sweet and salty and it did not dissappoint.
Staff were excellent from start to finish, very friendly always say hello in passing and will help with any questions.
Overall we had a great stay here and would certainly return when we visit Italy again.

Booked this hotel as part of a surprise birthday trip for my boyfriend.

The staff were slick, efficient and so welcoming. Nothing was too much fuss, and they went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed.

Decor of hotel is fabulous, really luxurious, but I would have loved a well lit make up mirror as the bathroom was quite dark.

Room over looked the entrance and it was noisy early in the morning, but this is not because of the hotel, its because of activity in the street. If you're planning to get up and explore the city earlish (8/9am) then its no problem at all. If your planning more of a lie in, bring ear plugs or ask to switch to another room. Very comfy bed, and good turn down service.

Roof terrace was a real haven, even in March sunshine, can see how it would be a real gem in the Summer for evening drinks.

Would go back and will recommend to all travelling to Rome.

This is a very nice small boutique hotel in a quiet but easily accessible area of Rome. While not the most central, It is perfect if you are planning to explore Vatican City and Travestere and is pretty easy access with some walking to all of the Rome tourist spots. The room itself was beautiful. We stayed in a Triple Junior Suite which is perfect for two solo travelers or a family as it is in fact two separate private bedrooms/bathrooms (which is not clear on the website). My only observation of the hotel is that while it is beautifully redone, you can easily tell that attention to detail was not taken by the construction firm as there were lose fittings in both of our showers, lose faucet plates and the door trim wasn't secured to the door frame very well. They really could benefit from new soundproofing windows as the garbage trucks come by each morning and dump the glass bottles from the restaurants and bars below at 8am or earlier but other than that, noise was really not an issue. The rooftop bar/restuarnt was very nice but a sterile environment while we were there which could be spruced up with some more greenery or decor (compared to other hotel rooftops in the area) These are all minor things which not prevent me from enjoying this hotel again. If you are staying in Rome and looking to be closer to the Vatican or Travestere, I highly recommend staying here.

Located in my preferred area of Rome, this hotel does not disappoint! Chic hotels in Rome are notoriously difficult to find, but DOM has it all. Delightful staff (English fluent), well designed rooms and public spaces. Good bed linens, great showers and bath products. The breakfast included a full buffet of treats, fruits, breads, yogurts and fresh juices (specialty items or requests available for additional charge). Unfortunately, they recently closed service to their roof terrace. For a real treat, book the DOM suite and enjoy your own private terrace.

This hotel was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s very updated inside in the rooms and bathrooms with air conditioning.

We didn’t do the breakfast but on our way to the airport we grabbed a croissant and cappuccino at their cafe downstairs and it was excellent.

This is a quick 5-10 minute walk from campo di fiore, close to the Vatican, castel d'angelo, and other amazing landmarks and history. It’s across the street from a government building so there are guards outside which actually made it feel fairly safe. You can catch a taxi out in the main road (2 min walk) really easily. It’s a 15 min taxi ride from termini so you can easily get to Florence, Milan, or Naples. We did a day trip to Florence and it was lovely.

The rooftop bar/restaurant had a great ambiance but we didn’t eat there because there weren’t many menu options and there are so many incredible restaurants near bar. Right around the corner is a Michelin star restaurant.

I highly recommend this hotel to any couples looking to do get a lot done in rome and stay in a comfortable, quiet hotel.

We loved this boutique hotel! The location is fantastic-you can easily walk to all of the attractions in central Rome and cross the bridge into Trastevere. The rooms are big and beautiful. The roof was great for aperitifs. It is a little odd being across the street from the military building where there are always guards/soldiers with guns, but we had read about that on the reviews and so were not surprised. We would definitely return here!

This boutique hotel is located in a quiet street close to piazza navona and the Vatican. Rooms are elegantly appointed and very well furnished. It is a boutique hotel so don’t expect a huge lobby but a more intimate one in an old palazzo. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a lovely roof top terrace for cocktails or simply relaxing. Breakfast is top notch, every day you get different pastries and they are of excellent quality and my family was very much looking forward to this special start into the day. To summarize this hotel was exactly what we were looking for for our stay in Rome: an elegant, luxurious, small, quiet italian palazzo with lovely staff in a great location and which provides for excellent sleeping. I would definitely go back to this place during my next stay in Rome. I choose this hotel after a long investigation into Rome’s luxury hotels and I was not disappointed, I would highly recommend this place to anyone who has the same priorities than myself which means the ones who are searching for a big lobby and people watching, gym and sports facilities, big buffet breakfast would not feel at ease.

A genuinely outstanding hotel experience. The location is perfectly placed in the centre of the city, close to all the usual sites, but still quite enough to escape the crowds. The hotel is beautiful, the decor is perfect and our room was lovely, mixing classic Italian style with modern touches. But most importantly, the staff are amazing: helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable. We'd definitely highly recommend it.

Great location near the River on Via Giulia. Easy walk to lots of cute shops and restuarants in the winding streets. Just a few minutes walk to Piazza Navona. There is a secure public parking garage next door, so if you are driving this is convenient. The rooms are nicely furnished, the bed was comfortable and the amenities are Acqua de Parma (nice!). The breakfast was so-so, even though they made their own bread. Perhaps it is better when the buffet is permitted (before covid restrictions). Although the staff were nice and helpful, I never felt really welcomed to the hotel in a genuine way. It felt like the staff was going through the motions. Nothing wrong with efficiency – I had just been at two other hotels that were super-friendly in comparison. Overall, I would recommend and would even stay there again myself.

I'm sorry to say I don't know the answer to this question. When I stayed in October, I was upgraded to a fabulous room, but it had a large bed. I do understand the point, as I prefer separate beds when traveling with my girlfriends for a girl's weekend. I advise contacting the hotel to see what they say. I'm so sorry I can't help you on this, but hope you enjoy your stay in Rome.

not that i know of/ we parked on the street and i think the hotel has some arrangement that makes it legal at night. you can not have the car more than a few minutes in front of the hotel ,because of the anti mafia (police) building right in front of the hotel.

Hi Robyn, we unfortunately had a different experience. I agree that location is perfect as you can easily walk to the main sights. But the noise in our room on the 1st floor was definitely too much. After closing downstairs at 2am the people stood outside chatting and smoking. We travel to Rome twice each year but DOM for us was first but also last time. There are hotels which are by far more cosy in our view. Look top floor rooms at Hotel Campo de Fiori. Roof terrace there is breathtaking. Wish you a great holiday Regards Achim
