Very good position, near the city center/ metro station, quite larger room, clean and comfortable, nice staff and very helpful, easy to get to the hotel, poor breakfast, however typical for Italian style.

The hotel was perfect for our needs. We arrived very fast from Termini station and we started visiting Rome using the map provided by the personnel of the hotel. All the major touristic objectives are close to the hotel, so it was the perfect choice for us. The rooms are tidy and respect that air of classic that Rome offers,...

The hotel is near Termini station and very closed to the tourist atractions. You don't need a subway to visit. It was some hair on the floor. Also, a little bit noisy because the hotel is located on a principal street.

Dear Mr gystalov, Elle Emme Hotels own two hotels next to each other, both three star hotels. Sometimes, for your comfort, we move some room to the bigger hotel, Hotel Patria. This happens when something suddenly breakes in the room we assigned you and we do not want you to be uncomfortable. We are sorry that this time was disappointing...

It is a lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. All attractions are within 5-15 mins walk so very convenient if you are in Rome only for a few days and would like to pop in and out of the hotel between the attractions to freshen up.

Hotel is perfect to stay near the city center, very close to Rome termini center also many attractions were just 10-15 mins walk away. Perfect street for shopping where hotel is located, staff was very friendly and cooperative. Breakfast was a bit dated with not too many varieties other than that fully recommended to stay there.

Pictures don't always tell the story. This hotel was recommended and the pictures looked lovely. In fact, the entrance is highly unappealing, the rooms need updating, and the breakfast room is small and unattractive. There are better three star hotels in the area. Choose carefully.

Dear Christine H, we are truly sorry about your disappointment. To be honest, we know that the entrance of the building does not contribute to give a positive image, but unfortunately ours is an ancient building in the centre, and it's very difficult for us to change the appearance, walls, etc. Plus, as you might have noticed, the entrance is...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
