The hotel is located a few min of walk from the Policlinico metro station. The room was clean and quiet. A decent breakfast was included. Friendly staff. There is a storage room where luggage can be left on the day of departure to do more sightseeing. When we were there, the subway operated only until 9.30 pm. After, there is...

It's a hostel with private bathroom. It isn't a hotel, watch out. Staff extremely cranky, poor breakfast and during my stay, the elevator weren't worked. Isn't next to any metro station but the neighborhood is ok. Anyway, if you have a child or a boring girl, stay away from it. A private bath and bed is guaranteed tough

Not being to Rome before we did not know what to expect, however our hotel was very well placed at only one stop to the Termi Station (the main station). The room was big enough and comfortable, the only complaint was the shower was very small and I am a little large. We also got a continental breakfast each morning...

This hotel was actually just as expected when booking. The rooms were simple but clean, and so were the breakfast and the rest of the hotel. Good option when traveling on a budget, but to get downtown you have to take to metros (takes about 20-30 minutes including the waiting time).

Clean room, clean bathroom, change towels every morning and make the bed. The people at reception welcoming guided us where we had questions, for a city break is very good, especially since you're going to walk in Rome. Close to the metro and tram lead directly to the main places in the city.

booked this hotel for a weekend 3 night break in Rome. Read the reviews and was concerned about what we would find but was very pleasantly surprised. Very convient to Policlinco Station and this being our first visit to Rome so found it no trouble, very distinctive illuminated signs on the main road indicating the entrance to the hotel. Staff...

I stood there for four nights and I had a good time at it. Positive points: close to Policlinico Subway Station; some nice restaurants in the neightborhood; gentle staff. Negative points: quite simple breakfast; narrow stairs for someone who is carrying huge and heavy bags; strange bath towels (they just do not look like bath towels). Eu permaneci quatro noites...

I arrived late at night by myself with my wife arriving the following day. The staff were rude as soon as I arrived. The elevator did not work. I was staying on the second floor. With a heavy bag to cart up two flights of stairs some assistance would have been nice, but was not to be found with the...

We (my mother and I) arrived to Rome at night on October 13rd, we took the Terravision bus that stops in Termini, with my map in my hand we started walking looking for the hotel and we got lost so many times that the idea of staying in any hotel around crossed my mind. After an hour we found a...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
