Near rail and underground routes. very comfortable room, clean towels changed every day. Great breakfast and friendly reception staff (Guissepi). very helpful with guidance to best restaurants,, travel routes etc. Warm comfortable room with air conditioning. We would have loved a wee kettle in room so that we could have made a cup of tea when we came back from...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 shower room apartment in this hotel during February half-term as a base to explore Rome. The apartment was next to the main building but breakfast was included and so we went each morning for breakfast. (Cereals, bread rolls, cold meats, cheese, tomatoes, yoghurts, fruit, etc...) The apartment - which was very clean -...

This was a perfect base for our visit to Rome. The room was in the third floor, sloping ceiling not great for my tall other half. Small bathroom but okay for a couple of night stay. A little walk from the attractions but all in walking distance. Friendly staff

I was at XX Settembre for about 20 days: the staff was very helpful since check-in 'till check-out, specially Jonathan(Jonatan... I'm sorry if I wrote something wrong) who was the most helpful, saying about good restaurants and sharing some travel experiences; the only staff problem is one young guy ( I don't remember his name), who did not even say...

This hotel is ideally placed for a city break to Rome. It is less than a 10 minute walk from Termini station, and from there you can literally get anywhere! As soon as we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by 2 gentleman at Reception, Robert and Guiseppe-they were so friendly and gave us a recommendation for dinner. Their...

Rooms are ok, in the bathroom was a little mold on the windows, breakfast very good and varied. What bothered me was the fact that the staff did not keep their promise. The day before departure we asked them to prepare the breakfast for our last day because we've made the check out before the hour at which was served...

Just an 8-minute walk away from the train station, this hotel's location is an advantage. Surrounding the hotel are restaurants and a few grocers. There is also a day market in the streets around the corner. The room is small but cosy. The bathroom is also of a reasonable size but the shower stall is tiny. I would have preferred...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
