We stayed in this hotel at the beginning of September. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly members of staff who were very helpful and when we had any questions, they were willing to help by offering maps and giving us directions to the nearest metro station. We had problems with payment issues before our trip had even started and... More

This was a real value for money hotel... (4 beds room). The 10 minutes walk form the metro station was ok in the morning but seemed far away when we came back at night. This is not an easy hotel to reach back and relax at noon and go back to Rome (we did it only once). It is a... More

We stayed at the St Paul Hotel at the end of August for 5 nights. The hotel itself is clean and modern with good staff, who appeared more professional than friendly. Otherwise very helpful with directions into town and bus routes etc. Our room was a good size, but the bathroom was a bit small. The TV in our room... More

Hotel was well kept and spotless, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms were typically small but nicely furnished. Minor issues that we had that we could have avoided: Internet service is available in room but very expensive, hotel was quite far from Roma Ostiense train station and even further from city centre and no iron or ironing room - actually... From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff was wonderful. Our bags did not make it with our flight and they helped us work with the airline to get them delivered to the hotel. Everyone working there was so friendly (the front desk staff spoke English), they even sat down with us and helped us figure out how... More

We did classic weekend trip to Rome with my wife and I wanted to have reasonably priced nice hotel not very far from the centre. Based on the reviews on this site I chose Saint Paul as it received quite high ranking among 4 stars. I cannot compare to other hotels in Rome but here what I liked and disliked:... More
