Spent a night with the family at the Boncompagni Suite. The personnel at reception phoned me around noon to let me know that the room would be ready in advance and if I wanted to check-in earlier, there would be no problems. The room was clean and spacious. Since there is no common eating space, breakfast is served in the...

We had a family room (two connecting rooms sharing a bathroom). Its a good central location close to the train station which is a 15-20 min walking distance. It is also near various car rental offices. Very nice rooms. The reception and rooms are on the first floor in a 4 floor building. Giuseppe, Azzure and the rest of the...

We booked this hotel for our recent trip to Rome and was not disappointed. We checked in and was given a 2 day itinerary and a map of where key sites were (this wasn't necessary as we had already planned our trip). The corner room was really nice and better than I had expected. The only bad thing to say...

We used this hotel to book 2 rooms for the family and as a base to explore Rome. Its a good central location close to the train station which is a 15-20 min walk. The rooms are very basic and also noisy outside but that didn't bother us as at night its quiet and just close the doors. The shower...

Nobody told in advance that on a saturday morning hammers would begin working at 8 AM in the building's basement. The room was very small with noise from the outside and the inside. The shower had almost no water. When selling such a room, property should advice and/or make discounts.

We booked a double room here in aug 2015. We arrived to find that we did get a double bed however there was no space for luggage :-(. For the record 2 x adults + luggage do not fit in room 114. Otherwise the accommodation is nice & clean and within walking distance of Rome CC!

After reading positive reviews, and needing a hotel in this neighborhood of Rome, we decided to book a quad room at this hotel. First, its not even a hotel. We arrived tired after driving for six hours, and rang the doorbell downstairs for ten minutes and nothing...I had been asked via email what time I would arrive, and had said...

This place was an excellent escape from the hot and crowded streets of Rome in July. Good location - walkable to many sights. I looked forward to returning every evening. Staff was so sweet and helpful.

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
