The hotel is in a great location very close to Piazza del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and the Trevi Fountain. Barberini metro station is also very close. It is in a very safe neighborhood. I also walked from Rome Termini Railway station to...More
I recently stayed a few night's at the Hotel Garda and found it more than satisfactory for the price. The rooms are admittedly small and not terribly elegant but they are very clean and comfortable and even the little single room had high ceilings and...More
Avoid room 104, it has a view over the stairs and lift shaft with no natural daylight. This resulted in a dull and uninviting room, with no ventilation. Shower tiny and not much water pressure.

The hotel offers what is called NCC (rent with a driver) basically a limo service. The cost is 50 euro from FCO airport (cash) that is the same of a regular taxi (I think is 48 euro, flat rate) with the advantage you have the guy waiting for you at the airport, no line, no wait.
Call in advance the hotel to book it, if you are interested. For us worked always good.
