This is advertised as a 4 star which it definitely is not! It is quite a distance out of Rome and the area looks very seedy when driving through. Rooms are extremely basic and old fashioned although clean.Air conditioning worked reasonably well. Didn't use shuttle to station so cannot comment on its availability. Would not stay again.

This hotel is very nice and have a good price, but it's very far away from the city center. Breakfast was very good. Staff is very nice and friendly. They have a free shuttle to the metro station, but schedule is very limited.

We came here to experience Rome an obviously the hotel is just a stop gap for sleeping etc! We were on the eighth floor with the most amazing view over Rome and surrounding cities! The staff were very helpful and friendly, although the hotel is not close to much they provide a bus service to the metro which is a...

Its clean, quiet hotel. I felt very safe because of policemen who slept there. I spent there just nights, so I never tried pool, but it looked very nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. You get very good room and service for price you will pay.

We spent three nights here arranged by our travel agent. Very difficult and remote location. No metro or bus pick up nearby ( 1.5-2 km away). Tour companies dont come here for you. Old furnished room without most of the amenities. Our locker was out of order. The room phone was dead from the begining till the end of our...

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights with my fiancé. We arrived at the train station in Rome at 9pm so missed the hotel's free shuttle from the nearest metro station. We got off at Pietralata metro station (cost 1.50 Euro from Roma train station and took around 15 minutes). We were stupid and decided to walk to the...

We paid €94 in total for 3 nights in August on a 50% off deal for me and a friend - making it an ABSOLUTE steal at €47 each!!!! Therefore my review is heavily dependent on the cost of my stay. Please read carefully. LOCATION: 4.5 miles outside of Rome and a 15 minute walk to the nearest metro this...

Stayed one night in this hotel and thank God I only booked one night. The room was described as a quadruple room. There was four single beds although some were make shift camp beds squeezed into a small double room size. I am disabled and found it difficult to get between the beds as there was so little space. The...

This hotel is far out from the centre of rome to start off with. The rooms are very dated and need updating. Tried getting room service but the operator did not speak english. Walked down to reception and they were less than helpful, finally was able to order some by flagging down a staff member in the hall way. The...

Hotel Rouge et Noir feels safe and welcoming. The room was clean and tidy, shower was slightly difficult to operate. The hotel itself is awkward to reach by public transport- it's worth getting the shuttle to the nearest metro "Pietralata" but this only runs in the morning and evening. Also, be warned- the vending machines are not cooled! The pool...
