I visited this hotel with my girlfriend, while we both loved the room there were a few things that could've been handled better. Such as the service, checking in didn't make us feel very welcome. The breakfast had a great variety but the quality wasn't...More
The hotel is close to Termini station but if you go the other way.. is really a long walk.
I enjoy to walk on not so popular streets, but if you are looking for city center, this is not the one.

We enjoyed a generous discount through booking, but I'll make this review as if you had to pay full price, it's important enough imo.

Reasonably priced and well located close to Metro, trams, busses, train station. Satisfies all basic tourist needs: AC works well, nice to return to a cool room after a hot day in Rome; good breakfast.

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
