We were staying at Sorrento peninsula for a month and popped to Rome for two nights. This place is very good place for the buck. Close to Termini and the service was excellent. Although no reception off the office hours, but you get a key to the door at the street level and you're in. I recommend strongly!

Very nice little apartment style hotel room 3 blocks from the main Rome train station and walking distance to many sites. Room was nice and clean It had a joint kitchen with another room. The bedroom and bathroom are seperate from the joint dining area and are lock able on their own.

Recommended by Tripmasters, would never stay there with a family. Not in central area or good location. Room for 4 was the size of a postage stamp. Arrival area looked like storage for trash. Worker had to lock door as we entered to keep the beggers out. Online pictures of rooms look much larger than they really are. We left...

This is a 2-bedroom apartment managed by a young man who spoke English quite well. Each bedroom has a locking door, and guests in each may access the common kitchen and sitting room. Each bedroom has a private bathroom and a TV. The apartment is modern and clean... actually beautiful. Most of the week we were there alone. A couple...

It was a wonderful stay in an ideally located hotel with wonderful and helpful staff. Initially I had trouble to locate for 5 mins however I asked few locals and they guided me correctly. Mr twe who was managing things took his time to explain us about city transport and passes. Made us hot coffee without any extra charges. Helped...

Great location, very close to the Termini station which makes it easy to get around the historic parts of Rome. Friendly and helpful host. Refurbished rooms made for a pleaseant stay. With included breakfast it was also good value for a family of 4.

I stayed one night in this place during a business trip. I needed a place lose to Roma Termini, as I had a train to catch early in the morning. The location is 5 minutes away from the train station, but the area is very quiet and (apparently) safe. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My room was quite...

Very good! Extremely clean and comfortable. Very modern, close to Termini station and stuff really friendly and helpful. The rooms are big and quiet, you feel relaxed like at home. I strongly recommend it. The breakfast area is next door, a cool cafe place named Agora and there are many restaurants, mini markets and shops around the area and I....

I booked this place as it was categorized as a hotel, It is not. It is basically an apartment with an open area that is your kitchen, your lobby, the registration, concierge, house-keeping, etc. 2 rooms open to this area, one for you and one for anybody from anywhere in the world, and you are alone with this neighbor at...

The hotel was decent, comfy and clean. We had a triple room and it was big enough. Location is near the station. There is no signboard for the hotel. You would need to look on the buzzer. It's literally along the right side of the street towards the end. Easy to find, follow the map. In the mornings, they have...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
