We booked as part of a package and overall, it was clean and convenient to the Trains. Unfortunately, of the 4 cities we stayed this trip, the accommodations fell a bit short. Honestly, my biggest complaint is the bed. We were on a whirlwind trip...More
First thing... the welcome desk is a makeshift desk in a room. Unfortunately, that room was right outside ours and another room. So we could hear every conversation that happened. True story... someone kept calling the main desk very early in the morning, and because...More

got free water bottles on check in
Hot water mixer in shower kept making water too hot or too cold, complaint just ignored with some weird explanation.
This hotel is located very close to the central train station, Roma Termini, so it is very convenient if you want a hotel close to public transport.
The rooms are modern, spacious and elegant. The staff was very polite and helpful.
4 nights here - absolutely fine.
not easy to locate on foot, stairs and lift, reception not 24 hours but coffee available. Breakfast next door, also fine. Easy to get to around - a good base - would choose again

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
