We had originally booked with Chroma Octho but the day before we got to Rome it was changed to this guest house. The staff were very good at getting in touch with us by both e-mail and text and the guest house was not very far from our original booking so it did not affect our holiday negatively in any... We stayed in Jan 2016 and were so happy we chose to stay there. The hotel was so well kept and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location is absolutely perfect, so close to termini station and main attractions like the colosseum. We were able to do alot of our sightseeing on foot because the hotel... More

We had a perfect 5 day stay at this guest house. The room was clean and well maintained, the host was warm but not intrusive. The location is right in the middle of the historic center but in a quiet corner which helps in relaxing after walking the whole day. Lot of good eateries around. Colosseum is a 10 mins... More

This is a nice hotel in the center of Rome. There are 3 rooms that are each decorated differently. They just have the essentials bed, small fridge, small table and a bathroom. But that is typical for apartments in Italy (and Europe in general). The beds and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioning is average European air. So if you... More

My girlfriend chose well! Central and within walking distance to everywhere u want to go. Colosseum etc! Also only 5/10mins walk from Termini train station. Lots of very good restaurants all around. The 'Hand room' we stayed in was in a funky pop art style design. It was clean and had plenty of space for two people and a reasonable... More

Very clean and stylish hotel. It's small, only three rooms. Large room, we stayed 2 adults and 3 children. Very good location. Only minusses are that window in the room is blindfolded and breakfast is only a cup of coffee and croissant - not possible too add more. We had to buy extra breakfast at the supermercato across the street.

Had a lovely stay in Ena Guest House. Had previously booked into Chroma Eptha but they were full and we were accommodated here instead which worked out great. Great central location, very close to Termini and the Colleseum. Extremely polite and helpful staff. The room was very clean and there was room service daily. Would definitely stay here again

A little difficult to find at first but excellent location (10 min walk from Colosseum) and charming staff. Room was really nicely decorated and for the price it's absolutely incredible. Do not hesitate!

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“Just tell Carlo what you want. He sent us emails way ahead of time asking for anymore needs, that's when we added an extra bed. He collects credit cards too which is helpful. The breakfast is nothing to right home about but the same Cafe deals very good food. try their Pepperoni pizza with little cheese, that's the best we had in Italy so far! It's called the Brancaccio Cafe. The public car park in front of the B&B is €4 for the whole day, free on Sundays, no hassle to get parking! There are super markets within 2 mins walk, we'll stocked.”
