This is the perfect place to stay for a break in Rome. The room was lovely, location was amazong and Manuela is the most gracious hostess. As soon as we arrived, she gave us a map and loads of recommendations of places to eat etc. She got fresh biscuits and pastries in for us every day we were there. We...

Stayed a week in this little hotel in Feb 2014- the grey and white room was ours but had a really very small shower-that was the only down side. The red room have a bath/shower - could of done with that with all the walking we done. Brilliant location wow what a view for the roof top. Nice little breakfast,...

I stayed at this B&B at the beginning of October and was pleasantly surprised. It was a little difficult to find - it is actually a converted apartment in a large building - so the entrance is a big wooden door on the side of the building and you have to look for the name on the list of apartments....

Returned today from a 4 night stay with my wife, brother and his wife. The position of the apartment is great, over the road from the vatican, next to a taxi rank and bus stops and a few minutes walk from a metro station. Manuela is very friendly and helpful, pointing out the tourist sites on a map and how...

Just got back from a stay here in early July. I can wholeheartedly say this apartment/B&B was great and the price amazing too, given the location. We didn't arrive until 10pm and we were met there by the owner. Although she didn't speak much English, nor us Italian, we understood everything she said! We stayed in the room decorated in...

After returning from a 3 night stay with my husband in Rome, mi was vedy impressed with this b&b. I Booked Rome as a wedding present for my husband and the b&b went out of their way to kindky supply a bottle of fizz on arrival. Manuela was very good and she tried as best she could (she did very...

My wife and I recently travelled to Rome and stayed at this small, but friendly B&B. First off, even though it is a 2 bed apartment, it still provides everything you need from a reasonably priced city B&B. The breakfast is perfectly adequate for a city break as the picture shows. For example, most mornings we had cereal, coffee, juice,...

I had a bad experience in not cancelling the reservation in this hotel made in July 22nd, 2013, for check in at February 27th, 2014. Between the reservation and the trip, there were no communication between us. I didn't travel and I was charged in the total of the amount. Why didn't I cancel? I made the reservation directly, and...

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a 2 nights stay here. We were in the room with the ensuite, quite spacious, acceptable for a b&b. The walls were very thin and our first night we could here our very loud neighbours, and when in bathroom it felt like they were literally in the room with you. Bathroom was...

The previous reviewer got it right, there is nothing luxurious about this place as the name suggests. Rooms: Both rooms were sizeable BUT only one room has an attached bathroom. The other which I was initially in, has a bathroom next door. I really did not like this as you go through the hallway by the other room and sitting...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
