We booked the largest room (family of 3, kid 11yrs). It was the perfect place for us; spacious, clean en beautifully decorated and in the middle of the city centre. Very friendly owner, checks everyday if everything is ok. Far more personal than a hotel and much mor space.

This was one of our favorite hotel rooms during our holiday in Italy because of the layout and location. Our kids fought over the bed in the loft area, so they decided to take turns for the two nights that we were there. Our family was impressed with the spacious room with its vaulted ceiling and the lovely view of...

The room is very large for two adults and 3 children. The room is clean, has free Wi-Fi and a deposit box. The staff was very flexible and friendly. Perfect location for a sightseeing trip to Rome. The only negative they dont have breakfast and we have to pay around €13 each, for a coffee and a croissant at the...

Stayed for two nights as part of a Rome trip. Great location with walking distance to many of the must-see sights, good (but expensive) shopping nearby. The staff was excellent, both in the Suites and in the restaurant (which is highly recommended too!) They really tried to make the most of our stay. Although the room was facing a piazza,...

Situated in beautiful Piazza San Lorenzo. This Piazza is in a perfect position to explore Roma by foot. (Which we did). Arrival by metro get out at Spangna train station and walk about 10 mins with bags. Of course carting bags anywhere is tricky so, no worse than anywhere else. When you arrive at the hotel it is simply 2...

This accommodation is situated in a very nice piazza in Rome. Around there is everything you need. The place is clean, pretty and comfortable. Service is very attentive and the staff great. There is a restaurant downstairs which will service in the rooms and you can have a nice apperitivo just in front at Chiampino. Cute little find. I loved...

The Teichnersuite are in an amazing location for great food and all the sites. Is also conveniently placed near the Spagna metro station which makes arrival and departure very easy! In a big city like Rome it would be hard to find the personal touch in a hotel but not this place. Vincent took great care and time with us...

When you arrive your first reaction is UGH when you see the steep flight of stairs in front of you...there is no elevator. Once upstairs you will be greeted by very friendly staff. The rooms are spacious if not a bit lacking in charm. The refrigerators do not work very well. There are coffee making facilities but the rooms laclk...

The hotel is very close to many of the tourist sites in Rome. It is on the second floor, just above shops and a cafeteria. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your suitcase on the steep stairs. A little bit noisy in the morning. The room is large enough for two adults and two children up to...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
