- Be careful on the booking/intermediary between Residenza Ludovisi, Ludovisi Palace Hotel, and other similar names. We requested the agency to book in the Ludovisi hotel, we ended up in this guesthouse, paying even more expensive than the hotel rate. A scam occurred at the residenza/intermediate agency level - Extremely bad soundproofing. Hear everything happening in the next room (loud...

We arrived in at the hotel To be greeted by a lovely man called Mr Caesar, check in was very easy and our room 303 was lovely. Modern, well decorated and extremely clean. Harsha covered our first night and he was very communicative and friendly. He was very polite and look after us well. Breakfast is on the second floor...

Small hotel in a great location in Rome. Large room, big enough for the three of us. The room had all the amenities you need. Breakfast was on the floor below, the room was small and did get quite busy. However, there was a variety of food and drinks. The hostess looking after the breakfast was very sweet. The hotel...

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from August 6th until August 10th there were three women. We were shocked to learn that we would be staying directly behind the breakfast room where all the guests had their morning meal. Not only that but there was another room across from us and it was not soundproof. The air conditioning...

Value for money! Great central location. We had a few issues with aircon on the first day but it was fixed the next day. Staff was friendly, helpful and attentive to our needs. We were on a girls trip and spent 4 nights at this hotel. We were very happy! It's practical and clean! I highly recommend if you are...

I recently booked a 4 night city break to Rome and chose the Residenza Ludovisi. It cost 250 euro (62 per night) for a clean, spacious double, with comfortable bed, big tv and very nice bathroom. i especially liked the shower, hot water came right away and with incredible pressure considering we were in an older building. i also liked...

This is not a traditional hotel, set in an old block over 2 floors and mixed with offices and apartments, so don't expect any communal lounge etc Lift is from last century. The rooms are modern and fine, but the whole place needs a bit of maintenance ( as does Rome) Be prepared for wobbly toilet seats, doors off hinges...

The hotel was satisfying considering the cost/night. The spot was good enough and just 2 blocks from the subway and 4-5 blocks from the closest central Piazza. The staff was friendly and was very helpful providing information and directions. Due to some construction procedure nearby, there was some noise in the early morning. The room was clean. The Wi-Fi connection...

We booked this hotel via Booking.com in haste for July 16-19 2014. We read the reviews after the fact and wanted to cancel our booking via Booking.com and were told this was impossible. Using the knowledge gained from the reviews we prepared accordingly for our stay. We travelled with our two children and arrived with one small luggage and a...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
