Location wise this room was perfect, a 5 minute walk to the Collaseum however there many negatives. It was noisy, not particularly clean, the bed was uncomfortable, the pillows smelled of dust and the shower was broken. Like I said you pay for what you get, it was cheap and convienent so all depends on what you are looking for.

Exceptional location. The M station is only metres away, there are very good cafes and restaurants within a block or two, including Indian, Sushi, Chinese food as well as Italian. BUT - this is a tiny, and in some ways charming spot, with small rooms, and my bed (room Augusto) was hard with springs and wire a little too close...

We arrived at the tube station just a minute walk from the hotel but it actually took us about 25 minutes to find the hotel as we kept walking past it as there is no signs for it! Then when we thought we found it no one answered the buzzer, asked everyone on the street and no one knew turned...

Booked last minute whilst in Rome as decided to stay the night rather than return to Lucignano. Went onto Trivago and booked House Monti through booking.com this was approx 1hr before we were going to be there. Email from booking.com was confusing 3 different addresses but we went to all 3 no one at any of the addresses and none...

Is an amanzing place, very good located ( 10 min away from Coloseum, 30 min away from Columna Traiani, 15min from Roma Termini ) Management is very helpful, arranged something special for us. We spend our 3 days "late honeymoon"

The website for House Monti is misleading. They list one address which is their office, and and not the address of our room. I called Booking.com to ask about where my reservation was located as I subsequently read a comment about multiple locations online - location was important to me. I received a very superficial reply email from Booking.com which...

We stayed in a separate building which was 10 minutes walk from House Monti itself. That was fine but an unexpected slog up the hill in 34C heat. Great location for local cafes, bars and restaurants and shops. The house itself was roomy and had a little Halley kitchen area but the fridge could have done with an airing and...

We stayed recently for a long weekend and I would definitely recommend these apartments. We were in the main apartment building, but we did email in advance prior to booking to make sure we weren't placed in the annex room. The area is great - 5 mins from the metro, with loads of great bars and restaurants nearby. We especially...

We stayed 4 days in House Monti. We get an apartment 10 minutes walk from main building, so it was a bit disappointment at the beggining (it was closer to Termini than Monti square), but it occured not such a big problem. The apartment was ok, with wi-fi, kitchen and bathroom facilities, however shower place needs some renewal. Overall we...
