The staff at this hotel are excellent; very helpful and informative. The room is spacious and clean. The roof top terrace bar is a real treat ... you have amazing views across the city. Breakfast is very good. The hotel is located very close to the main station which is convenient, although you have to walk at least 25 mins...

We arrived before check in and were greeted warmly by Georgia at the front desk. Georgia was so kind and helpful! She even upgraded us to a larger room so that my son and I could have our own separate spaces! The hotel is clean and beautiful, rooms are spacious and beds are comfy! They even give you free reign...

Our 4th visit to Rome turned out our best because of this fantastic hotel. We arrived before 11am and were given a room! The staff were super kind and helpful. Location for us was perfect as we needed to be near the train station. There were so many good restaurants and cafes in the area to choose from. Our room...

Very clean and a nice set up with the free mini bar. We stayed in the suites which looked a bit rough and ready from the outside, but the room was lovely. The downsides were the shower which wouldn't stay on the shower setting so your ended up holding it in place. The air con also didn't work which was...

So many good things to say about this hotel. Never been to Rome before so with it being close to the Roma Terminal it was great for us to get about easily and to and from the airport. Upon arrival we were told our room had been upgraded which was a nice surprise. The staff were all really friendly, helpful...

Great boutique hotel! Biggest pros: - comparably large rooms with up-to-date bathroom - rooms are very well isolated so great for anyone with a light sleep - we got an upgrade and a room to the inside patio so it was super quite - great service, esp. in the breakfast room (Luigi, Fabrizio, Juan Carlos) - well connected (just across...

I went to Rome with my wife and have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is very closed to Termini station which has very good connection from/to the airport. The area is on the northeast side of the city but at walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, for example, 20 minutes to Fontana di Trevi....

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
