Myself and children loved it here, perfect place for 6 of us, it was clean with plenty of room, Piero was lovely even tho we couldn't speak Italian and he couldn't speak English, his cleaner got someone to translate for him. Nothing was too much trouble. If we ever come back we will stay here again.

*Location is great - bus and tram go up/down street in front of building, 100 meters to Ottaviano metro station (steps, no escalator or lift - but it's not a deep station), 200 meters to Piazza Risorgimento and good bus lines (including line 81), 10 minutes walk to St. Peter's Square, less than 10 minutes to Vatican Museums; many acceptable...

The Apt is in a great location! 2 blocks away from St Peters Basilica and Vatican. Walking distance from historic center. We walked all of Rome from here. The ground floor Apt not good for family, it's ok for young people, sometime no cold water and very small. 2nd floor apt much better, great view of Borgo Pio pedestrian street....

Yes...the room was decent and clean and very small...the problem was there wasn't anyone who spoke English to get info ....was very frustrating and the breakfast was pitiful with coffee so strong it was undrinkable and it was scalding hot where you couldn't pick up the serving cup...all for twelve euros...ridiculous price for such lousy continental breakfast. If you are...

Stayed at this B&B for 3 nights/4days. Was booked at last minute as the original hotel I booked was overbooked. The B&B wasn't easy to find but it was my fault as I did not print a map of the location. Ottaviano metro station is very close and if you leave via the Piero/Ottaviano exit then it would be easier....

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
