Beautiful hotel! We liked absolutely everything! The location was excellent, close to the promenade, near the Pantheon and the Colosseum, all attractions within walking distance. Hotel staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious, clean. Breakfast was delicious and varied, delicious cappuccino. I want this review to thank the hotel staff for the wonderful time we spent at the hotel

We stayed at the 47 a few years ago--the hotel is in an excellent location, the decoration is modern and the rooms and very comfortable and well appointed. The bathroom we had was beautiful. Service is impeccable. 100% recommended.

I stayed here for 3 nights whilst in Rome with work. Whilst the Rome was a bit on the small side it had everything one needed. Situated in a great location, the staff were really helpful too. Would recommend the rooftop bar.

Dear guest, Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience with us! We are very happy to read that you recommend Hotel Fortyseven and that you enjoyed your stay, the staff and our wonderful location. Our rooms are actually quite spacious, specially for Roman standards, the Classic rooms are around 25 sqm and Deluxes 35. I suggest that...

We stayed at Hotel 47 with a group of 31 for an Alumni trip to Rome. The rooms were spacious, very well appointed and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this Hotel. We walked to the Jewish Ghetto for dinner and also to the Spanish Steps for fabulous shopping. Cab stands are available for those who don't...

Perfectly placed to get to most popular attractions in Rome. Breakfast good and service from staff very good. Clean room and decent size. Only down side is parking around here but that's an issue with the place not the hotel. Definitely recommend.

We loved this hotel! We stayed during Christmas and New Year's and had an amazing time. Great location this isn't too far from many of Rome's attractions by walking. You must try the rooftop bar to enjoy a sunset, was sensational. I'd also recommend walking over to Trastevere (neighborhood across the bridge) for some of the best "local" restaurants in...

A comfortable, nice hotel in a privileged location, close to major sights, public transportation, the Trastevere restaurants, etc. Friendly reception, good service. Beautiful roof garden with breathtaking views, the ideal location for the New Year Party. Nice and quiet (Standard) room. Average buffet breakfast. Overall a positive experience, but: the exorbitant charge of €12.- for 100 cl of wine at...

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are happy that you enjoyed your New Year’s Eve here at Hotel Fortyseven. I believe that your comment “the exorbitant charge of €12.- for 100 cl of wine at the bar was a real disappointment!” is unfair due to the fact that we serve only high quality wines, so this was not...

Really enjoyed our stay at the 47 Hotel in Rome. The location was good - a 20 min or so walk from the Colosseum and Roman Forum. The facilities and breakfast were good. The staff were nice (but I wouldn't say they were outstanding - didn't particularly go out of their way, overly friendly etc). The walls of the hotel...

Dear guest, thank you for sharing your experience here at Hotel Fortyseven. I regret to read that you were not overwhelmed and that your neighbors were a bit loud, the walls, however are not thin and normally there are no complaints about the noise from the other guests so I apologize for the particularly playful children staying next to you....

A good location within walking distance of Rome's centre and the main attractions. Lovely modern rooms clean and well fitted. Very professional staff especially on reception , pleasant breakfast , slightly limited dinner menu but very relaxing bar , a real restful oasis

Fortyseven is a quaint a hotel. Close to the Jewish ghetto, synagogue and walking distance to many of Rome's greatest attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The linens and bathroom amenities are of high quality. Staying in Aventine

Neighbourhood Profile
Aventine
Contrary to the chaos of the city, the Aventine is Rome’s oasis. A neighbourhood made up of a patchwork of ancient churches, hidden gardens, private homes and embassies, peace and quiet is top priority and the vibe definitely friends and family. Take a walk around the Aventine and you’ll find a treasure hunt of surprises like the clever little keyhole at the Knights of Malta entrance (the only place you’ll find a line) along with Parco Savello (Giardino degli Aranci) next to the ancient Santa Sabina church. Keep your eyes on the 1960s architecture, several modern buildings are built atop Rome’s original 4th century BC wall.
