I found Casa Banzo trawling though the net for an inexpensive accomodation that would be well located in the historic centre of Rome. I am a middle aged mother of 2 who has been quite spoilt in the past with accomodation, having stayed in Four Seasons and various boutique luxury hotels, such as the Hotel Russie in Rome itself. (which...

Atfer several visits, we finally found a just right hotel in Rome. Casa Banzo's location is terrific, within walking distance to just about everything (very close to Campo de Fiori). The way the hotel is set up gives you a sense that you are staying in Rome. The staff, Justine and Anca, were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Their restaurant suggestion...

This B&B was amazing. I couldn't recommend it enough. The location was perfect, we were bang in the middle of everything. We visited almost all of the sights and we didn't have to use any form of transport. Everything was walkable. The room was so lovely. We stayed in the "Celeste". It was a large room with gorgeous decor. I...

There was very little availability for lodging in Rome during our planned stay in June 2013. I think I found the hotel from a very old online article in Travel and Leisure - and then looked at Tripadvisor reviews. This is one of the most amazing properties I've ever stayed in. I believe it was built in the late 1700s....

This small B&B set in a tranquil courtyard has absolutely the best location of any place we have stayed on our trips to Rome. Add to that tasteful and immaculately clean rooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and an incredibly attentive and gracious staff, and you need look no further for your next stay. This delightful place will be our home for...

Casa Banzo Bed and Breakfast is located in the center of the center of ancient Rome. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring all parts of the city, and if you are in normal shape, you will not be needing anything but your legs for transport. We were three girls from Norway travelling to Rome in may for the second,...

This B&B is really very special and beautiful, it is set amongst the pretty back streets in a nice part of town on a busy square. The entrance is through a lovely old wooden door, into a picturesque plant-filled courtyard, which It is peaceful and very 'Roman'. We stayed in the deluxe room which was stunning - high ceilings (wood-panelled)...

The location of this cozy B&B is perfect. Just around the corner from Campo di Fiori it is easy to "conquer" Rome. We walked from there to all sightseeing places and restaurants. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. We followed their recommendations and were totally pleased with it. The rooms are nice and clean and the breakfast is small...

Casa Banzo was recommended to us because of its location and suitability. We wanted an hotel within walking distance of the sights, with places to eat close by and that someone had stayed in before (we didn't want to be trail blazers for others!) We had 2 rooms during our stay which were both clean, comfortable and traditional. We had...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A special place in Rome Nestling in a small square in the heart of Reinassance Rome on the remains of the ancient city, the 16th century palace was originally built for the noble family Alibrandi. The 18th century additions and subsequent renovation over the centuries have but added to the splendour. For four generations the building has belonged to the family now offering their unusually attractive bed & breakfast rooms and selfcatering apartments for discerning visitors to Rome. Their constant concern is maintaining their same traditionally high standards and ensuring the wellbeing of their guests and visitors of Rome. Great attention is paid to detail: antique furnishings and quality decor alongside modern amenities as well as the friendly but discreet sevice, make this private dwelling a very special selfcatering apartment in Rome. Casa Banzo hospitality begins in the stunning reception hall, with its stained glass and vaulted frescoed ceiling, continues in the comfort of the selfcatering apartments or bed & breakfast rooms. ... more   less
