We had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The location was great , just a 10min walk from Roma Termini and then 10-15min walk to the colleseum. Very ideal! All the staff were super friendly and very knowledgeable of restaurants to try. One morning it was raining, and the hotel had umbrellas for us to take on our day of sightseeing, such a great gesture! The beds were very comfy, and the bathroom was spectacular with all the toiletries you would need...and an added bonus of super fluffy towels . If I'm back in the area on holiday I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is ideally located for easy walking access to the Colosseum and Termini Station, as well as many of the key sites of 'old' Rome. It's located on a quiet street and there are several restaurants and cafes nearby. I found the hotel staff to be polite, helpful, and very accommodating to my beginner spoken Italian. The room (queen on second floor) was clear and very well appointed; having a small bar refrigerator was a pleasant surprise. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was new and very clean, and the water pressure was great! There's a small issue with the shower basin in my room not having a edge/lip in sections, which led to some water going on the floor. This was easily dealt with by putting down one of the many towels in the bathroom on the floor to soak it up. Given the hot and dry weather (Aug.), the towels were dried in a matter of hours. No big deal. I will definitely stay at this hotel during my next trip to Rome.

The hotel is actually more pleasant than the area suggests when once arrived, but it's a nice place to stay. There are plenty of shops and resaurants within walking distance to visit. The Coloseum is only a 15 minute walk. The restaurant offers a complete and full breakfast at a cost of 14 euro, unless you're a BW Diamond member, then you can choose either the breakfast, or the 500 points! Like that's even a choice! They also have a Rooftop Bar which offers a nice sunset view, albeit with dozens of various other rooftops, including church domes. The food is very good, as well. Highly recommend the lasagna! There is also a mini-bar in the room. The staff are as professional and as personable as you can ask for and will do all they can to make your stay more pleasant. There is also a coffee area open throughout most of the day, with pastries available, as well. Elevator is very small, but can accomodate 4 people and luggage assistance is available at the desk, too. If you are a solo traveller, as I was, be advised that the "single room" is very small, and has neither a desk, nor a chair to sit! Should I stay here again, I would choose a double room. All things considered, I enjoyed my stay here! Very clean and comforting!

We stayed 3 nights in the "Superior Double room" (top floor with large balcony) I would recommend this room, its worth it. The room was perfect, bed comfy, and everything was clean and housekeeping made our room everyday, very lovely service. We reserved an early checkin because we got there from the airport at 10am. Charge would have been 35EUR but they didn't asked for it because they were "only" ready with the room 15minutes later, very generous of them. Breakfast was delicious and in general all of the staff was very kind. Location is excellent, quiescent street no big trafic. Please note that the hotel is an old building - doesn't look like it because it was renovated inside and outside as well- but therefor in the room - if you close the windows for while - the air can be stuffy, so don't be disapointed on this, it is just how an old building is. All in all had a great stay and recommend this hotel with this room to everyone.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. Still very similar thoughts. The interior is very classic in the shared spaces as well as the rooms. The room was a bit small this time but we slept very well.
Great breakfast and especially the lady who worked there alone was amazing! She was able to handle filling the plates, taking coffee orders and cleaning the room by herself, still with a smile on her face.
Good location, only beware of traffic if driving nearby as we were fined when leaving the hotel with our car because it wasn't clear there were some restrictions in the area.
I guess we'll stay there again some time!

One of the best hotels I've been to. The rooms are beautiful, with polished furniture and textile wallpaper in beautiful colours. The bathroom is modern and appears brand new, with shiny tiles. We had a room towards the back, it was quiet despite the central location. Bus and Metro close by. Lovely breakfast with everything you could want. The roof terrace with Roof Bar is a perfect place to end the day. The staff were cheerful, helpful and service minded in all categories.

We recently stayed at Hotel Raffaello by Best Western in Rome from July 9th to July 11th, 2024. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are the main issues I encountered:
Unfair Child Pricing, The hotel charged the same rate for my child as they did for adults, which I found unreasonable. Most hotels offer discounted rates for children. Despite paying the full adult price for my child, there were no additional benefits provided. This lack of consideration was disappointing. The room we were assigned was notably small, making it uncomfortable for us to even move around in the room. It was quite evident that we were given smaller room inspite charging for larger room. Too money minded. Overall, I would not recommend Hotel Raffaello due to these issues. I hope they take this feedback seriously and improve their services for future guests.

Your reservation was for a double room for two people, and the price was set for two occupants, as room rates in Italy vary based on the number of guests. Upon your arrival, as you came with three people, we were required to add a third bed to accommodate your child. According to our policy, children up to 4 years old stay free with a crib, but since your child is 12, the additional bed incurred an extra cost. For future bookings, we recommend specifying the total number of guests at the time of reservation to avoid any unexpected additional costs and to ensure we can assign a comfortable room for everyone. Our first trip to Rome for my husband's 40th. What an amazing hotel! It was lovely, fresh and clean and has a fantastic rooftop bar where you can relax after a fun day of sightseeing. We travelled as 2 couples and my 2 year old son.
The staff couldn’t do enough for us and they went above and beyond and made a fuss of our son even gifting him with a free teddy bear, thank you everyone. Nothing was an issue, we had a leaky shower and they fixed this for us very promptly and no problem since.
Also, really lovely breakfast and service which helped us to fuel up and start our day, the location was just perfect. We did alot of walking but also made use of the hop on hop off buses starting from the main Termini train station which was about 10-15 minutes walk away. Prices were also very reasonable as we thought everywhere would be really expensive but it really wasn’t.
Food was great and tasty in all restaurants we ate at, one place even gave us a free bowl of baby pasta for my son which he loved!
The only downside is as a warning for pushchair/wheelchair users is that some of the streets were very cobbled and there weren’t many ramps. There. were also alot of steps in the Vatican, which meant pushing a pushchair could be difficult at times but it’s definitely possible and we didn’t miss out on seeing the beautiful sights of Rome so don’t be put off, people are also very accommodating and helpful. 100% recommend this hotel, would definitely stay here again.

Spent two nights at this hotel in a room with a King bed. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked us in an hour prior to normal check in time. Room was spacious, bed and pillows were comfy and the bathroom was bigger than expected. The shower had a waterfall and a hose to use. Air conditioner wasn't as cold as I would've liked it but it was still decent. Hotel location worked well for us and the best part was the reasonably priced grocery store next door! We got buns and smoothies for breakfast every day and beer and pop in the evenings. Did not eat the breakfast but it was 14 Euros per teen/adult, children are free. Did not go to the rooftop bar. Front desk staff ordered us a taxi for our departure and it was seamless. Would definitely return to this hotel and recommend to others.
