We stayed here for 3 nights whilst touring Rome. The area is lovely and leafy and easy to get around. We loved the semi-outdoor dining area (this is one reason we picked this hotel - so we could have breakfast outside). The weather was glorious so we made full use of it. Breakfast was varied but not cooked - just continental. All the staff were friendly and helpful
Good value for money. Clean rooms, very friendly staff, breakfast ok, nice garden where we eat breakfast and had some drinks after long walks in the city. Quiet neighbourhood. Situated near aventinerheights and 15 min walk to Forum Romanov.
Located in green and quiet residential area on the Aventine hill, just 5 minutes walk from Circus Maximus and 15 minutes from Colosseum and Forum Romanum. Commodious room in authentic Roman villa with clean bathroom and small private terrace, On premise restaurant with good Italian food and wine. Excellent hospitality.
Booked on spec at a good price for a week. The hotel is in a quiet area of residential villas in the Aventine, but with areas of restaurants and bars within 10 minutes easy walk. It is not a long walk to the Coliseum or the Circo Maximo. The hotel is in 3 separate villas with the reception in one and the restaurant in another. It has garden seating areas and is decorated in classic Italian style. Staff were friendly and helpful, we had paid a little extra for a room with a balcony, which was a reasonable and the balcony was quite large with a view towards Ostia and had a decent en suite. Breakfast was typical Italian buffet style with plenty of choice. Only negative was the coffee , if you just asked for coffee you got a pot of horrible stewed stuff, I learnt to ask the waiter for a doppio which was properly made coffee. This seems to be common in Italian hotels! The bar and restaurant area is quite elegant and reasonably priced for a hotel. We had one meal which was excellent, the pasta and meat dishes were excellent, as good as anywhere else we ate. On leaving they ordered us a white taxi to Ciampino which was €35 Excellent hotel, would stay again.…
This was our second time to stay at this hotel. It is in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood. In walking distance of many attractions and close to Termini. The staff is very accommodating, rooms are lovely, and breakfast is delicious. We enjoyed the small bar on-site as well. We’ll stay here again on our next visit to Rome.
The hotel is located right on the heart of the Avventino hill in Rome, very close to the city's most famaous attraction, the collosseum. The villa is extremelly beautiful, staff is very kind and make us feel at home. It is an amazing experience to be there. The only think is an tiny odor of humidity of the rooms. Ventilation in the rooms should be improved.
THis is a good hotel. It is located in a quiet residentail neigborhood. It is a 10-15 minute walk from the Metro Station at Circus Maximus. The rooms are a good size and are very clean. Breakfast is good and is served in the conservatory. I ate dinner here one night and it was very good. The hotel organised a taxi ride tp FCO airport for me , which was great value at €48. I would gladly stay here again
The hotel is located in a neighbourhood and has a nice garden. We had a great stay here. Our room was spacious with a bedroom sofa area and a large bathroom. Breakfast was served in the greenhouse in the garden. Lovely, really lovely. Would return here.
It is often said Rome is an assault on the senses. This hotel was the perfect oasis in a quiet upscale neighborhood. Nice rooms, efficient service with a smile, lovely bar/dining area, good food and ample breakfast. Also nice outdoor areas to eat and relax. We would definitely stay here in the future.
very expensive place, with absolutely no sound insulation, soft beds and terrible service. I really recommend you choose another hotel. you hear next door guest having sex, the water in the pipes all night. just a nightmare without sleep
