Great place to sleep, small rooms with about 4 people, breezt and comfy. The storage lock up for your bags is terrible but the room was great. Overall positive stay. But the clerk up front wasn't the friendliest and the bathroom needed a lot of work.

I have been 3 nights to this hotel and i found a big room cleaned and with lcd tv and free wifi. The location is perfect because it is very closed to the main train station and to the metro. Centre of rome is very near and personnel of reception was very kind with me , particularly a nice blond...

I stayed at this place with two friends for four nights. We came here late on a sunday night. The old man in the reception was quite friendly but he tried to charge us double city tax. I don't know if it was a simple calculation mistake or if he actually meant it. Our room, #107, was in the front...

We had booking with ConteHouse, but they moved us to this cheap hotel. The customer service is so bad, we even spoke to the boss because we originally have breakfast included in our booking. And he was rude. There are no wifi in rooms (only in the lobby). Everything is old and even my room door was hard to open. Terrible...

Having read these reviews before I travelled, I was rather dubious about what I was going to experience. However, I was rather surprised! We stayed up in the hotel section on the fourth floor, in which our room featured beds that were surprisingly comfortable, air conditioning, mini fridge and tv, all of which were functioning well. The en-suite bathroom was...

We chose to stay here because we needed a cheap hotel close to Termini station. This place was miserable to say the least, it felt a bit like a prison. On the up side, the sheets were clean and the location was good. However the shared bathrooms were filthy, I don't think they had been cleaned in a very long...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
