It is the third time I visit Stendhal Hotel. It is a cozy hotel, near centre , walking distance from Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna etc. The stuff is VERY polite, Liked the room setup as it is really quiet and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was awesome. I will definitely be staying here in the future. Overall, enjoyed the stay. It offers all the amenities you need to have a pleasant stay.

Hotel's Favourite
An ideal location and hotel to scout and enjoy the city of Rome, while making use of their friendly services. The comfy big rooms make for a perfect rest, while the fabeolous Break-fast does the rest to get started on your adventure. Thanks for the great stay!

This is the only hotel we stay at in Rome. We love it here. We first came in 2015 and returned in 2016 and honestly love it. It's brilliantly located and the staff are so friendly and attentive. When we booked our flights to Rome for this trip, it was an absolute no brainer - We were booking the Stendhal. We only need two more trips to have stayed in every room on the first floor! Just 103 and 105 to get bingo! The rooms are perfect as a base for exploring the city and the breakfast is perfect to set you up for the day. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone there and we were even able to check in a bit early as our room was ready by the time we arrived. A special mention to Valerio who was just the nicest person! Thank you to everyone at Hotel Stendhal for another memorable stay - until next time!

Dear Customer, It is really a pleasure for us to read the commentary on your stay. I personally want to thank you for having found the time and the words to describe your impressions about us and our hotel. I'm glad you could appreciate the comfort of our luxury, sober and refined, where the generous spaces create a warm and welcoming environment like that of your own home. We are also grateful for the words spent on our staff, who obviously knew how to meet your expectations and needs. Everything we do, what distinguishes us, is only the attention to detail, like the real hosts who welcome not just guests, but welcome friends, to let him live a warm and harmonious experience away from the impersonality and monotony of places already seen. We will be happy to welcome you here again, to start from where we left off. Best wishes, Franco Ascoli – HS ROME

This was our 3rd visit to the Stendhal. Great to see the same high level of service remains following the pandemic. The hotel remains very clean and well maintained. A few new 'covid19' procedures are in place such as confirming a breakfast 'sitting' to try and avoid overcrowding in the restaurant area at breakfast time. Breakfast is no longer buffet 'self-service' but you have the same very nice selection of food available at request (as much as you like) which is brought to your table by waiting staff. We would like to highlight one member of staff, Val, who works evenings in the bar/restaurant who I must say really made our visit very special and memorable. He gave us some amazing local recommendations away from the usual Rome sightseeing and was a pleasure to talk to over our 3 night stay. Members of staff like him are a true credit and value to the hotel company and we hope we will see him again when we undoubtedly return. The hotel is really conveniently located for all Rome sights and was a great base to explore the city. I cannot think of another hotel we would stay at in Rome!

The first room that I got was extremely small, damp, and not so clean. Looked over it, did not complain, thought I was going to be there for one night so tolerate it. When I returned to Rome and got another room, it was bigger of course but the washroom smelled baaad, and the cleaner had not even flushed the toilet ( pictures will prove), there was a menu on my desk and when I called the reception to order, he said “ oh we don’t accept orders anymore since COVID “, ( since COVID??? That happened 2 years ago, you can’t take off the menu?) And the whole time I was there (3 nights and 4 days), the washroom smelled terrible and I couldn’t leave the door open because y whole room would smell. when checking out, another receptionist did the check out and cancelled the hold on my hold because they had initially put the wrong price! The staff overall were not bad but they were not friendly either, they did not make you feel welcomed.
