Location is not that perfect, at least 20 minutes to attraction points. Room was spacious but the bathroom was really cramped. Bed was making noise and it was distracting. Staff tries to help but doesn't acknowledge you about places unless you specifically ask for. Couldn't get the service i was expecting to get.

Perfect location for a short stay in Rome. It is a very clean hotel, friendly staff and lardd family rooms. Breakfast was good too. Situated in a quiet area of Rome but still very close to the centre. Overall very good for a 2 star hotel!!

This time I needed a decent hotel for one night and chose this one because of its location. My first impression was very good: I liked the old building, the young man at the reception was very friendly, my room was renovated and very clean. Though after I entered the room I realised that there is no place for my...

- The hotel is very central - the rooms look amazing - Receptionists are very helpful and fluent in English. - Each room has towels, soaps, shower gel and shower caps, mini bar and a flat screen tv. The breakfast and WiFi were both weak but it only cost me and my other 3 friends 21.50 euros per person a night...

Stayed here with grandchildren . Hotel was central which was great. Very basic hotel. A bit strict for kids. Breakfast was not up to much but plenty of nice cafes close to hotel. Could get better hotels in Rome. We enjoyed Rome

I requested an airport transfer, and the driver from the hotel arrived with his son, only acknowledged me with a nod, and spoke on his phone or to his son the entire 40 minute car ride to the hotel. I already had a bad impression before arriving. On arrival, the room was NOTHING like advertised in the photos on their...

My first review for TripAdvisor - I don't normally write reviews of the places I have been, however I felt compelled to do so on Hotel Seiler after my experience there. The only thing I can say is I wish the reviews of the hotel I read prior to booking had been more detailed, as I would have looked for...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
