İ had a reservation for Nazional Rooms in Rome between 20-23 October 2016 by booking.com. I canceled my reservation for free at 6 October and i did not stay in this hotel. But, the hotel took whole money from my credit card at 27 December (AFTER THREE MONTHS) Therefore, I do not recommend you to stay at this hotel. They...

The room was clean and the bathroom was big enough. The location is ideal for those who want to see the historical center and the metro is pretty close. The girl in the reception was very kind! For a travel to Rome this is a cheap and good solution

The room was clean but shower room had dreadful smell and shower not very good. The breakfast was few yards away (if you could call it breakfast) 3 choice of croissants, lukewarm coffee and plastic glass of juice so we skipped it and went elsewhere for breakfast. The staff were nice but the room was very basic, (had to ask...

This hotel is in an ideal location being half a mile from the main Termini train station and a mile from the Roman Square and Colosseum. It is situated on a busy street and has various high quality restaurants and shops surrounding it. The staff were very pleasant and polite. The breakfast was quite basic. Would definitely if you are...

Hostel is in perfect location - really close to everything. Although it is located on one of the main streets there was no trouble with noise. People are very nice and helpful, rooms are simple but very clean and nice. If you are looking for a budget place in the centre of Rome this is great choice. The only disadvantage...

Nice little functional room, city centre of Roma, near the Colosseum and Central Station Termini, friendly staff, clean bathroom, only the bed was a bit uncomfortable... but in total it was worth the price and I would come back!

The lady's running are friendly and helpful, the café around the corner that serves a proper Italian breakfast (coffee and pastry) is beautiful. it was my first time traveling Europe, and if I do rome again I am...

All in all a wonderful stay when visiting Rome for the rugby. Only issue was the water pretty much stopped running in the morning (assuming just due to lots of use) however it was sorted very quickly. Great location and staff.

Staff was friendly, but the bed was extremely uncomfortable for us and we were told that all of the beds were the same. Like seriously I felt the springs in my back. Wifi was decent. Older decor and not much light in our room. Bathroom was okay, but shower was awkward getting in and out. We did not eat the...

It was close to all things, both train station, Colloseum, restaurants, shops etc. The room had a great size and the staff was friendly. BUT: You could hear the traffic outside (even with earplugs), the breakfast I'd rather not eat and it wasn't even at the hotel but at a bar up the street (with almost no tables), the bed...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.

“We prepaid on the internet and asked for quiet rooms with views. All of us had a view of St. Peter's from the window. Loretta handled most of the coordination and we were happy with the care taken in the room selection. We were all on the same floor but my son's family has a baby and they had a perfect room for their situation; a kind of sitting room that allowed some separation from the crib provided by the hotel and their sleeping area.”
