Great Hotel and the staff were very helpful. Only a 10 minute walk to the metro that can bring you to coliseum and termini station. However, one small issue with the double bed that is depicted by the picture attached, its two single beds pushed together, be careful people.

Nicely situated within a 10 min walk to a metro stop, so it really isn't as far from attractions as we initially feared. Staff were very helpful, and tidied beds etc every day. Breakfast was very good, in a nice rooftop room.

We reached late in the night, our room was ready. The staff went above and beyond to re-open at midnight as I was not feeling well and needed some hot tea. 1) Location - We booked this hotel as a part of accorhotels website. What we did not realize was the hotel is quite far from major attractions and took...

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for three nights during a very cold spell in January 2017 and found the room on the fifth floor clean and tidy if a little small. There was a very large towel radiator in the bathroom and as there was no radiator in the bedroom we left the interconnecting door open most...

We are not fussy people. We had 14 days during Christmas period in this hotel, decision based on TripAdvisor reviews and photos. Disappointment is the word that defines our staying there. The heating system (only air conditioned, this is Italy) is obviously old and dated, unclean and FULL of all the dangers. The bathroom heating stops every night according manager...

Nice hotel at good location and at good price, with great rooftop breakfast room, but a but cold in December. Our room was big enough, but some renovation would be useful. Staff was helpful and friendly,

We stayed here for three days and had a mixed experience. The hotel is quite quirky in its décor and we enjoyed that. The room we had was a reasonable size, clean and tidy and the bed reasonably comfortable. However, there was three pillows, so my husband had two and I was left with only one. When we asked for...

Travelled with a friend. used Ryanair, on time in both directions A very reasonably priced 3 night break. We soon managed the metro and the sightseeing buses after having a sumptuous breakfast in our roof garden restaurant, Best yet. Room was large and well furnished Each member of staff worked hard to welcome us and make our holiday a success

Very pleased with our stay here. We did not pay a lot and I know there are more salubrious establishments in Rome, but this was a good base to see Rome from for a long weekend. It is close to an underground station so you are able quickly to get around the city, plus there are some nice restaurants and...

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighbourhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighbourhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
