It's nice hotel . Excellent central location next to Spanish steps. Little expensive. Only limitation that they do not provide teal and coffee arrangement in the room. You are to buy it. The front desk is very cooperative . Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We recommend that one should stay here

We chose the City Hotel because of its location in the center of Rome as we wanted to explore the city by foot. The hotel is ideally located to walk to all main attractions, Trevi Fountain approx 5 mins, Colosseum/Palatine Hill/The Forum approx 25 mins, St Peters/Vatican approx 35 mins and Pantheon approx 15 mins. Our room over looked Via...

Perfect hotel when used as a base for visiting Rome. Centrally located and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, Spanish Steps 5 minutes, Trevi Fountain 5 minutes and Colloseum 15-20 minutes. Breakfast was adequate although basic. Would go back.

If you come to Rome to have some rest, avoid absolutely this place: the rooms are overlooking a courtyard which sounds very much, with strong odors of restaurants. A shame! The choice of this hotel has tempered our stay.

-Met the standards for a 3 star hotel. -Hotel was clean throughout (even during maintenance work on our first two days). -Bedroom was spacious, clean, quiet and air conditioned. -Poor Wi-Fi facilities. -All the staff were friendly and willing to help. -Breakfast wasn't too great, cold buffet only. -Fantastic location, all tourist attractions within walking distance (furthest walk was to...

A very old building, with the words oldest and quirkiest elevator. Nice helpful staff on reception, and a short walk to the Spainish Steps. The rooms are on the small side, but not uncomfortable, and the bathroom is of a reasonable size. There is no safe in the rooms, you have to pay 5 euros for an A5 size envelope...

This hotel is located in a fantastic spot. Really close to the Spanish steps and only 10 minutes walk to the Trevvi fountain. We couldn't fault the room itself which is spacious and airy (air con working but could be a bit more powerful) and clean. However, our shower location is right in the centre of the bath! Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Colonna
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
