Pro's : such a pretty and quaint hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. It's centrally located to all the major tourist attractions. The Vatican, pantheon and colleseum are only a 20-30 minute walk away and the Trevi fountain and Spanish steps are a 5 minute walk. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby and great shopping. Cons: the room was...

Just returned from this quaint hotel right in the heart of Rome. If you enjoy walking and exploring I would recommend this hotel. It is comfortable and clean and ideally situated for exploring Rome on foot. I loved the ancient cage lift that takes you up to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and exceedingly helpful. The room was...

I visited the hotel with all my family. The room for 4 was so good with internal steps so as the bed of the parents was separate from the bed of the children. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The situation that this hotel is located is perfect because you can be wherever you want in few minutes by feet.

The Ciry hotel could not be more central. The Spanish steps are a few minutes away, with the Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and the Colosseum not far away (taxi rank nearby if you prefer; the taxis are reasonable and good). We were made to feel very welcome and were pleased with the accommodation. There is an intimate breakfast room with...

Centrally located near Piazza di Spagna , occupies part of a 200 years old bldg that can use some restoration . Reception was good , room very small and under equipped. All was clean , WC was good and room quite at night . Breakfast was very basic and below average . At Euro 175 per night you would expect...

I have to admit I was skeptical about staying here because of some reviews, but it was absolutely perfect! I stayed for 3 nights and no complaints! Very comfortable rooms, nice terrace, staff very helpful and PERFECT location! about 2 blocks from Spanish Steps, train, 10 min walk to Trevi Fountain and I even walked to Vatican City only took...

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights before going on a Mediterranean cruise. Hotel City was small, but had an old fashion quaint charm, and had an awesome location. Hotel City was about a 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain, and Pantheon. The hotel is surrounded by amazing cafes, restaurants and shopping. The...

Just left this hotel after a 3 night stay with husband. We stayed in a twin room (beds pushed together but we didn't mind). Room and bathroom were clean and the air con was excellent. Some noise outside from building works on street but windows blocked most out. All staff were friendly and helpful, explained best ways to get around,...

Staying in Colonna

Neighbourhood Profile
Frantic fashionistas, pedicured politicos, goal-oriented tourists, and on-the-go locals cross paths every day in Colonna, a delightful chaos in the very centre of the city. Even though it has some of the city’s loveliest sites—a 2nd century column, Belle Epoque shopping centre, and a magnificent Baroque parliament building—Colonna is not just another pretty face, but the cosmopolitan eye of Rome’s cultural storm. Colonna can safely say it has the best of Rome: museums, boutiques, window displays, restaurants, cafes, and people watching.
