We stayed here recently with VJV &, if we ever return to Rome, would be happy to book directly. The Nunnery is on a hill over looking St Peter's so is a little way from the centre but the 46 bus takes you past the Vatican to Piazza Venezia from which everything is available. I suggest buying a local transport...

Stayed 5 nights on a trip through Voyages Jules Verne. The building and gardens are quite beautiful and there is a view over part of the city including the dome of the basilica of St Peter. There are green parrots living wild in the area, adding to the beauty of the gardens. The rooms are simple and very clean. Two...

You know that saying " they simply couldn't have done enough for us" I found my stay at Casa Per Ferie to have been quite the opposite to this statement and I am so very sad as I was so excited especially after reading all the other reviews on Trip Advisor. On arrival which was about 10pm our welcome was...

We have just returned from 6 day stay in Rome and stayed B + B at St Emilia. It is a superb central place to stay, clean and comfortable. The Sisters are cheerful and welcoming and very happy to share their beautiful convent with tourists. Breakfast is simple but perfectly adequate. We appreciate the useful Guests kitchen and pleasant sitting...

This is a 21 roomed ex convent school with the rooms overlooking the vatican gardens and the basilica which has to be one of the most impressive views I have ever experienced. It is now a guest house and small conference centre. After the mad bustle of Rome it was just wonderful to be able to come back to the...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will certainly book again. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although please note that the single rooms have a 2ft6 bed in , but if you put it against the wall - its fine. Breakfast is typically continental - and for Lunch and Dinner I would recommend Casa Bonus Pastor (which is the seminary...

We initially found this Convent (b&b) through Jules Verne, but decided to book independently. So glad we did as it was much better value. I was in a group of four friends and we were delighted with everything about this lovely place, The location was perfect, easy to get into the City but calm and peaceful after busy days sightseeing....

As friends and family we just love Rome and have been to various hotels, this convent is so nice, clean basic but comfortable and the nuns are lovely. The breakfast is adequate not your cooked breakfast but certainly healthy. The convent does not do evening meals but the nuns direct you to what I believe was a monastery but now...

The convent is easily accessible from the city centre - about 10-15 minutes by bus or taxi but it feels further away because of the contrast between the noisy, crowded city and this peaceful, green environment. My single room, though simple, was clean and comfortable, and extraordinarily good value at 45 euro a night. One of the unsung parts of...

We were quite happy with our stay here. We stayed for 5 nights and found it spotlessly clean and an ideal base for Rome sightseeing. Breakfast was fairly basic but perfectly adequate with excellent coffee and fresh rolls. Remember the double room with breakfast is only 85 euro. After long days out we did not want to travel far to...
