A nice, clean, friendly hotel. A place that makes you feel that you are staying in your own room, thanks to the discreet (almost invisible) personnel. Within walking distance to almost all monuments and attractions.

My stay at Hotel Colors was exceptional - far better than I expected. I am a single woman who was travelling alone and this hotel made me feel safe and welcome. The hotel staff speaks very good English and I found them to be very helpful. The hotel is only a few blocks from two metro stations and about 5...

Room is cramped, the bathroom even more so. The room is so small opening the bag occupies most off it, and it doesn't even have a cupboard, just a space to hang your shirts. And the bathroom has no pegs, no towel rack. The breakfast is basic, and the bread is pretty lousy. The rooms are up on the 3rd...

Really not the best. room was basic, noisy at night, shower in the corner of room, communal toilets, no lift, expensive internet facility. this is not a hotel it is a hostel. if it were to charge hostel prices it wouldnt be too bad. ok location, not very easy to find after a hot and stressful trip from the train...

The hotel is colourful, simple but well organized, clean and welcoming. Staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are nice and spacious. Best and convenient way to reach the hotel is to take the #40 Bus from Termini Station. It would be most helpful to tourists if the hotel could post the bus directions on their website as alternative...

We stayed in a dorm room at Colors for 4 nights, and had a great time. We saved tons of money by cooking our dinners in the kitchen, and got to meet some really great people. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, and the place is very clean.

I stayed five days in Colors this May and I must say that it is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in! The place has an amazing atmosphere and a lovely terrace to cool down after a long day of sight seeing!! Its well located, a step away from the vatican and close to the metroline. The...

Initially, I thought the hotel itself was great. I stayed there a total of 3 nights. However, I was disturbed to discover that I had flea bites all over me as a result of sleeping in one of their beds. The hotel overall seemed really clean and the staff was incredibly accomodating. For the price, you can't find a better...

Staying in Prati

Neighbourhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the centre, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighbouring Borgo, Prati is a local favourite for its aesthetic organisation and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
