Stayed in room 625, the decor was a bit dark, but the beds were clean as was the room itself. Maid service everyday, clean towels given. Buffett breakfast had a lot of variety.

Stayed here 3 nights post cruise from 2 to 5 Nov. I wasn't expecting much and I chose this hotel only because of its proximity to Rome Termini_ just right across the street. The lobby was not very impressive but thank goodness, it has two...More
We stayed at the Hotel Madison for three nights. First time in Rome. It was a great location right across the street from the main train station and subway stop. Only two subway lines in Rome, and this is where they interconnect, so you can't...More
Well situated hotel next to the railway station. We had a family room with four beds and breakfast included at a reasonable price for a long weekend. Exactly what we needed. We also got good advice on a nearby restaurant for evening dinner, just around...More

Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up
basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
Gee, you don't really need that as the hotel is right on the Roma Termini area where the trains and buses that go to the airport are located. Buses are 6-7 Euro to the airport. Just cross the street and voila!
