My wife and I stayed 9 nights in may. This was our fifth stay over the past 20 years. The main reasons were super clean, location which we could walk to most of the major sights including the Vatican. If your stay involves a Wednesday the sisters have tickets to the Papal Audience up on the dais. Breakfast is excellent. We... More

The Sisters at Santa Brigida offer a hostel for travellers that is quite exquisite and the location is perfect, right on the Piazza Farnese, near the Camp De' Fiori. Lots of restaurants and shopping places. Not far from the Piazza Navona. Highly recommended.

Simple but lovely accommodations in a superb location on the Piazza Farnese. Beautifully maintained property, friendly sisters, nice breakfast included, and a rooftop terrace. The neighborhood is full of cafes, restaurants, an outdoor market and shops. Walking distance to many of the sights of central Rome, and only two short blocks to a bus stop. For me, there is no... My husband, teenage daughter and I stayed three nights at Casa di Santa Brigida in July 2016. Our two rooms (one room with two twin beds and the other with a single twin) were on the second floor and they looked out on one of the side streets. The rooms were comfortable, clean, quiet and cool on warm summer nights.... More

We had a lovely stay here in June 2014. The sisters were extremely polite and helpful. The location is fantastic. It is located in Piazza Farnese which is near the Trastavere neighborhood and many tourist attractions and restaurants. The rooms were clean and quiet. It was a peaceful and safe place to rest for the night. Upon waking in the... More

This was the first time I stayed in a monastery (I found them on monasterystays.com) and I will most likely return on my next stay to Rome. The location was centrally located and next to the charming neighborhood of Trastavere. The sisters were very helpful and even let us know that the Pope was in town and speaking from his... More

An experience beyond excellence, the sisters at Casa di Santa Brigida are happy, friendly, welcoming, wonderful people, I really don't have words to express the feeling of being home away from home. The house was a pleasure to be in, inspiring, clean, the terrace was full of colorful flowers without a spec of dust anywhere to be found. Food was... More

This was our first (and hopefully, not last) trip to Rome. We arrived with a group of 15 other Catholic pilgrims from various parts of the US. We were warmly greeted by one of the Brigidine nuns who spoke English (the nuns come from different parts of the world). As many of the inns in Europe, it's small but uses... More
