We stayed in this hotel a few days in August in a triple room with friends. Once we arrived to Fuimicino Airport we called to the hotel to communicate if it’s possible an early check-in and it was done without extra cost. It’s situated very close to Piazza Popolo. You can get the entire city just walking because there is...

Great location, you can walk to all the sights. Just around the corner from the Metro and a couple of minutes from the Piazza del Popolo and shopping. Friendly, helpful staff. Maps and directions to places of interest given on arrival. Lovely decor. Great happy hour from 6-10 with complementary snacks. Delicious, variety of food for breakfast.

We recently spent three nights at this lovey hotel near piazza del Popolo. The staff were very helpful with any request we made ie booking taxis/providing sight seeing info. The hotel is small and has an Old World charm. Our room was not very spacious but adequate with a firm comfy bed.the hotel is spotless. We found the included breakfast very nice and...

We really enjoyed the breakfast at this hotel and the location is quite close to many attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, its on a quiet street very close to the Piazza de Popolo. The staff was very nice, offering to provide us a box breakfast has we had to leave for the airport before the regular service. We...

We stayed at the River Palace recently for 5 nights and had a very good experience with the hotel. The hotel is one short block from the Piazza del Popolo. From there, most of the major sites in Rome are within a 15-minute to 30-minute walk. These include the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish steps, the fantastic Borghese Gallery and surrounding...

The cruise line booked us into this hotel as part of our Mediterranean cruise package - it was impressive from the word go. Our room was a good size, nicely laid out, very clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. There is a very convenient bar area located on the ground floor where...

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the River Palace Hotel and found the best hotel staff we have ever encountered. I became ill on the flight to Rome and the hotel arranged for me to go to a nearby clinic and be seen by a doctor. As we were leaving the hotel for the clinic, we realized...

I have just returned from a 4 night trip to Rome and the River Palace and I am so sad to be home! The hotel is in a great location 100m from Piazza De Poppollo, which leads onto Spanish Steps & the Trevi fountain which is about a 10 minute walk away! The nearest metro station is about a 2...

We stayed at the River Palace for 2 nights....I don't think we could have stayed any longer. Our room (standard queen) was so small. We didn't have anywhere to put our luggage. We had to sidle sideways to get into the bathroom...don't even ask how small the shower stall was. There are closets bigger than this room. Location was good,...

The Hotel is lovely, the attention to detail is great and the staff is outstanding. The rooms are small (typical Europe) but incredibly lovely. We had upgraded to a deluxe room and were glad we did. The bathrooms are exactly as described online. The extras are really wonderful, i.e, happy hour with super snacks every day from 4 - 10,...

Staying in Parioli

Neighbourhood Profile
Parioli
Young and well-to-do families are the street flavour of Parioli. A new kind of Rome, this area is centuries away from the Renaissance with its pockets of 1930s palaces, tony boutiques, open-air markets and plenty of coffee shops. Parioli was built as an enclave for last century’s haute bourgeois and still represents as such in 21st century Rome. Need a break? The area has several great sporting clubs known for tennis and riding, a wonderful modern art museum, easy access to the zoo (Europe’s oldest), and is nestled around Rome’s very best parks including Villa Borghese, Villa Ada and Villa Glori.
