It's our first experience staying at a B&B and we were satisfied! This B&B provides nice room, centred location and good service. The owner, Antonio gave us information about the places and good local restaurants. It was nice to have a chat with Antonio in the morning while he prepared cappucino for us. At night you might heard the tram...

We were one of two couples traveling in Italy for 18 days. Rome was the last leg of our trip. We stayed at Napoleon Roma Centro for 6 nights in September, 2012. We called Antonio 2 hours prior to our arrival at Rome termini. He was waiting for us when we arrived. Antonio gave us good visitor information, directions to...

We just returned from a near prefect first trip to Italy. We stayed two nights at this property and were very happy we found it. We arrived by train from a cruise and decided to take a taxi because of our luggage. Be aware that that the taxi prices are criminal! Antonio met us at the property and spent much...

I'd like to write a lot but unfortunately my English vocabulary is poor and I'm afraid I do not express myself correctly. anyway, first of all thank you for your kind appreciation. I always try to make cozy my bed and breakfast (that I really love), and I try to feel my guests "at home" , because I love human...

We have just returned from a long weekend in Rome. The Napoleon Centro b&b is a a great little b&b with lovely hospitality thank you Sergio! Very clean and tastefully decorated. The b&b is situated near a metro station and was an ideal base to tour from however the area can seem intimidating at night at first but was honestly...

Pros 1. This B&B is a great value. We paid 130 euro for a four person family 2. The room was very clean with modern updates, great A/C (a must in Rome for summer), and firm mattresses 3. Antonio is a superb host - very friendly and accomodating and had wonderful pastries and espresso for breakfast 4. The location is...

Arrived by train from Venice in the middle of a heat wave. The short walk (3 blocks) from the train station was a godsend. The room had good AC (1 euro per day extra) and a good shower (large after the one on our cruise ship). Location in Rome's "China Town" was walking distance (10-15 min) to Colloseum and 1/2...

This B & B is a really easy walk from the Termini Station, where we arrived by train from Tuscany and left by train for the airport. For that reason alone, I'd recommend it, but it was also a great location for walking to the places we wanted to re-visit on our last night in Rome. Antonio gave us a...

Stayed for two nights and had a wonderful stay. New and very clean rooms. A bit small but again vey clean bathroom with new fixtures. Basic breakfast of cereal, croissants, tea and coffee...but the best part is Antonio's hand made cappuccino! Antonio also maintains a mini snack bar (coke, chocolates, chips etc...for midnight snacking) and I was pleasant surprised with...

Staying in Esquilino

Neighbourhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighbourhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighbourhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic centre. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
