Hard to find the hotel. No sign on the door. It's on the 2nd floor under a different name. The staff was great with directions & extra towels. The room was large and quiet with a queen/king bed and a twin bed. Mini-fridge in the room filled with goodies! Walking distance to the bus that takes you to the Terminal....

Very nice room, with a good bed, good a/c, a clean and well-equipped bathroom and black out curtains. It is however like renting an apartment (See Dean S review). We only saw the lady who checked us in once at the start. She did however recommend several nearby restaurants (including a booklet with everything in). She also checked us in...

We started our Italian vacation in Rome, where we spent four nights at Domus RomAntica. The room itself was very nicely appointed with a modern flair and excellent air conditioning. The room was large with high ceilings and a step-up bathroom. One of our favorite features was the light blocking curtains, which helped us to catch up on sleep on...

As other reviewers have said, don't expect a hotel - just modern, clean, well equipped apartment rooms in a converted old Italian town house. Reception is manned 10 to 4 usually and breakfast is by voucher at one of two nearby cafes...just coffee, cake and juice. So as long as you book knowing not to expect a hotel, you'll be...

Good bed. Decent soundproofing. We did hear some traffic noise but we were able to sleep. There are restaurants and groceries within walking distance. I would guess it's about a 20 minute walk from the train station. We took a bus back for possibly 2€ strong wifi in the rooms. A/C. Clean. Feels like a residential area. If you jumping...

Marcus was great - we were greeted on arrival and given full info on everything we needed to know about room, facilities etc. Good list of recommendations to eat etc in room. Room very clean, modern bathroom with excellent power shower. Only bad point was Wifi connection wasn't very good, although not too much of an issue as we were...

We enjoyed the quieter neighborhood and it was not hard to walk to the big sites. Very quiet room so easy to sleep off jet lag. Very low wattage bulbs meant the room stayed on the dark side. We were offered a driver to pick us up from the airport and bring us here and so glad we went ahead...

Like other reviews have said this isnt a hotel but apartments on two floors of an apartment block. The room is flawless and feels really authentic not just like staying in a Premier Inn for example which feels really cool being in an actual apartment block. I felt the location was fairly good but I like walking and exploring, so...

This place is located at a wonderful location in Rome, near the Piazza Piave. It isn't too far off from the main touristy areas of Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi, etc and is very convenient to stay here and tour Rome and the Vatican. Most of the buses we wanted were available just a hundred metres walk away from the hotel at...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
