I booked this apartment three months in advance then arrived to find my reservation had been cancelled less than twelve hours earlier while I was in transit from Australia. The person on the desk had no idea why it had been cancelled.
I'm so confused by these positive reviews! My experience at the Trastevere Terrace Suites was incredibly uncomfortable! We were a group of 4 and stayed 3 nights (Baylon and Trevi rooms). The location was great, and thats where the "good" stops. The bed was lumpy,...More
As others have said, the apartment is nice - we had a room with a sofa and balcony overlooking the street which was very pleasant, and the location in Trastevere is perfect.

We echo so many of the comments already made about the brilliant location, excellent accommodation and Francesco's helpfulness. Trastevere ("beyond the Tiber") is like a faded postcard, a little worn around the edges but still charming. With its wide-open piazzas, meandering streets, weathered Renaissance buildings, and overgrown personality, it's become an irresistible mecca for visitors. Trastevere is an enclave of entertainment - a rotating set of street performers entertains almost every night, and unforgettable
eateries and bars pepper its piazzas and side streets. For a trip to the past, visit the southern and western flanks of Trastevere for pockets of yesteryear, less traversed areas with a residual 1960s and 70s Roman vibe.
