I really thought this hotel was great. Excellent location everything within walking distance. Clean, comfortable and with the friendliest staff I have had the pleasure to come across. They were all happy to help regardless of how busy they were or how daft the enquiry was. Good restaurants situated nearby. Nice breakfast. I would definitely go back. Like most european hotels there...

After staying here for a week, just after the snow hit Rome, we had a great week. Ideally placed for all venues, Spanish steps 10min, Trevi Fountain 15 min, Metro 5min. Hotel has very high standards, staff always helpful, breakfast very good, we are English! Double bedroom big enough, bed massive and shower always hot. Bedroom made up everyday with...

This hotel was perfect for our long weekend in Rome. It's on a quiet street, but within walking distance of lots of attractions. The free breakfast was good, and while there weren't tons of choices, we ate well. The room was simple, but very comfortable. Everything worked fine, and this hotel was very well-priced compared to others in the area....

We really enjoyed our stay here- decent sized rooms, very clean, very comfy. Close to the Spanish Steps (very enjoyable 5 minute walk) Staff were great, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area- highly recommended and well worth the money. breakfasts were basic, but good, plenty of fruit and the coffee was excellent.

We spent the weekend here and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A short walk to the top of the Spanish Steps and the Metro. The room was nice and clean - small - and the bathroom was very clean. The noise from the street was so loud we had to keep the windows closed - altho it was...

The hotel is located in great place, couple of minutes from Spanish stairs, villa Borghese, Hard Rock Cafe on Via Vittorio Veneto and many nice restaurants around the hotel. The staff was friendly, supportive and very informative. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast great. Next time we will definitely stay in this hotel. Don't take blue line bus...

Ludovisi Palace wins hands down when it comes to Customer Service. We enjoyed our interactions with the hotel staff who were very warm and accommodating. The rooms may be small, but that is true of most European hotels so it was not a surprise. It was well appointed and clean. It was centrally located in a posh and safe neighborhood....

I recently stayed here for a few days during my honeymoon. When I was walked to the room, I could have sneezed across it. I asked the guy if there were bigger rooms (that did not face the street) and he said they were all the same size and there were no more "non smoking rooms". Thankfully, there was not...

This was a sad experience. Be very specific when you book a room at this hotel - we found, that they put us ( Family of 3) up in a very small room and qouted incorrect prices for an eventual upgrade. It was definately NOT worth 4 stars - and the corresponding price - not even for Rome. Better value...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
