We stayed here for two nights with our children aged 10 and 8. The hotel was in a good location and our room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We didn't spend long in the hotel but for a family room in Rome it was fine

We spent five nights at the Ludovisi Palace in March 2012. It was well-maintained, very clean, and the level of service was superior. The location is great! About 10 minutes walk from the Spanish steps. Highly recommended!!!

Clean rooms, decent breakfast and very friendly personnel. Only disanvantages were quite small rooms and the shower&toilet which saved water a little too much

The hotel has a great location and that is why we chose it,we chose a 4 star hotel but the room is too small and the hotel is noisy.we could hear the breakfast service and th room cleaning very early in the morning.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here during our trip to Italy. We found the hotel to be clean and the service to be very good. The staff was very accommodating to us (allowing us an early check in, providing an iron and extra pillows when requested). The most important things for me when staying in a hotel is...

This small hotel is well located in Rome--just minutes from the Spanish Steps, the Borghese Gardens and the Palazzo Barberini. If you are a walker you can walk almost everywhere in central Rome from here. Also, lots of great restaurants in the neighborhood. Rooms are small-ish but very clean. The hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast is simple but good,...

Firstly, the staff made our stay a delight: unfailingly courteous, patient and informative people at the front desk. Well located, close enough to all the major points of interests. A stonethrow from the famous Via Veneto and the gorgeous Villa Borghese, a must with its museum and gardens. A supermarket is also nearby. Only the rather narrow and small room...

We went to Rome November 2011. I searched for a hotel that is fairly priced, centrally located to the activities we had planned for the 4 days we were in the city. I chose and made my reservation on line. When we got there, I was amazed! I had chosen not only a nice place to stay, but we were...

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighbourhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighbourhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighbourhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 20:00.
