The Trastevere area of Rome is very vibrant and in a nice central part of the city. I was working at a university not far away and was able to walk to/from there. It felt safe during the day and my husband and I were fine walking several blocks at night. The room and bathroom were both quite large. The...

If you look for a quiet place, well situated in a nice Roman quarter, this may well be the place you are looking for. Trastevere is always a typical Roman "village", but it tends to be noisy. This hotel gives you the quiet you may be looking for. It has WiFi, but unfortunately this system did not work in our...

I visited this hotel at the end of spring. Trastevere is off the center of rome, and you can walk from the hotel to the center of Rome, or just take the tramway that runs in front of the hotel. We used to pay around one euro and a half usable for 2 hours or so. We liked the hotel,...

I had a very pleasant stay at the B&B. The mangers and staff were extremely nice and helpful. Nice location with plenty of ways to get all over Rome. Nice coffee shops nearby. The rooms were extremely clean, just had to ask for an extra towels. I enjoyed my stay at this B&B and will stay there again!

Mediterranean cruise?? If you are gon on a cruise and arriving from the international airport- Save a few bucks and enjoy Trastevere and ROme. From the airport take the train --not the train to dowtown- the (only other line) one -- that goes through Trastevere.. It's only about 6 euros. From the Trastevere stop- it is only about 300 yards...

We had a pleasant stay at B&B Trastevere. Hotel is very easy to find, located on main street of Trastevere. There's a TRAM station just in front of hotel, which make everything very handy. Also, if you walk down the street, TRASTEVER STATION will be right on your face. Regarding staff, everyone was very helpful, although English is not that fluent....

The hotel was easy to find from Trastevere station, just a couple of minutes walk up the main road. The room was fairly basic but absolutely fine for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable.
